Odds Lo goes into the Portal

We have probably the #1 RB in the country coming in next year.

I don't want Lo to leave but as posted earlier RB is the least of our concerns (along with TE).

This is a big reason why we are losing. Our best RB isn't playing. Yes, Deejay is a playmaker & has a big heart but he is average as an every down back. He should be in for 3rd downs, a big part of the RB rotation etc but he's actually average as RB1. Lorenzo has elite top end speed & will make a big difference for us when he plays....and he is healthy now and should be playing heavily.

We're sitting at 2-3 in part because our best QB wasn't playing until today and our best RB was injured. He's been healthy since Week 2 (according to Lo) and he was cleared to play according to Manny (a couple weeks ago) so he should now be playing. The bulk of the carries should be going to Deejay and Lorenzo with Cam getting rotated in as RB3.

Our offensive could be explosive if we used the best weapons effectively:

1) Perry
2) Brevin
3) Lorenzo
4) JT4
5) Osborn
6) Wiggins (who is starting to really develop)

If we had even an average OL, this offense...WITH ALL THE BEST PLAYERS BEING USED PROPERLY...actually could be destroying opponents. It has been way way underperforming its true potential. Kosi threw for over 420 yards in about 3 quarters of play. Granted we were behind & had to throw but that shows what this offense could be doing. Lorenzo needs to get significant carries so we have an effective running game again. People see Deejay's key plays (and his heart) and they ignore the fact that his average YPC as RB1 is not great. Yes, Deejay has made some game-saving plays in key spots but Lorenzo is the more talented RB1. We need more pop at the RB position. Book it.
 
This is the problem, we are not a team...saying he should go is saying he is an individual.

Dee Jay and Cam are ahead of him, simple as that, so just has to wait. Lo can be the man for the team if he waits
 
Clearly the best players aren’t playing. You it every single week, during every season. Wash rinse repeat.

Wait on a 2-3 team that is dumpster diving at this point? And DJ is playing very well. I’ve seen nothing from Cam that shows me he’s locked down the backup RB spot. Jimmy Murphy got a carry for Christ’s sake
 
Jimmy was the right player for the FB up the middle and got the 1st, it was just one carry, so leave it. Lo was not the right player for that, you know this (I hope)

Cam is getting better everytime he touches and running fine when the OL opens up holes..

So Lo can help the team and be the man later

The ole “if the OL can give him holes he will play better” excuse.

Either he got it or he don’t. I stand by my statement. Cam has done nothing to lock down that backup spot to the point where Lo is rendered useless on the bench. Cam isn’t “Frank Gore 2001” here buddy.
