It's funny how things work! The weather in Miami at kickoff will be as if there was ever the threat of a formidable storm. This storm passed. Or should I say the "cloud" has passed. The "cloud" and the object of its object of affection stayed in South Florida for 5 yrs. However, tonight, the atmosphere in The Rock will be void of anything that resembles that "cloud." But on the field, another cloud is forming. Better yet, a storm is brewing. Yrs of built of frustrations from the players, fans, and community of losing out on game-changing home-grown recruits, read and react defense, blown leads and one of the home-grown Cook running at will. No, this storm is approaching a category 5, and now the 'Noles and their delusional fans will soon find themselves in its eye. For sixty minutes tonight FSU will feel the pain of the U as a family.

I started this thread because I felt that these games in October would be the opportunity for Us to have a special season and its starts tonight. I predict that Mark Richt is aggressive in his play calling using the pass to set up the run. Expect a shot EARLY! On defense, I see this defense that people question as "for real" actually playing better and feeding off the energy from a blood-thirsty crowd. There is no way that the FSU offensive line can compete with talent and depth of oUr Dline.

I once heard someone say, "if you don't starve with us then you won't eat with us." To all the loyal Hurricane family members, this is for U! 'Canes 30 fsu 14

When Mark was hired I assumed he would beat fsu and win the coastal. Now we are here and some much has happened to other teams I have raised my outlook significantly. With ND suddenly very beatable, undefeated is a real possibility. A win in ACCCG is then ticket to playoffs. I don't see us beating osu or bama but we win just getting there. We are Miami and that spotlight will ignite our recruiting base and we will drain other teams of many future stars they will then have to face wearing THE U. October is where it begins.
