I am not sure if you know this or not...but, Miami's Board of Trustees, its Athletic Director, pretty much anyone inside or around the Hecht lacks that.

They have no idea what it takes to win. Wouldn't know where to start.

The name that intrigues me is Bill Bedenbaugh, co-OC Oklahoma. His name has been brought up before and it makes a ton of sense, especially now that we have a fresh start with Manny.

Lifelong Air Raid guy (played under Leach), has been around the best playcallers in the game, elite OL coach and evaluator of OL talent. He can help address our two biggest needs. The knock, and it's a big one, is that he's never called plays.

No, this guy needs to be a proven playcaller. I’ve stated before that someone like Canada or Kiffin would be perfect and then you take somebody like Spencer Whipple who was UMass’s Passing game Coordinator/QB coach and let them groom Whipple. Spencer can coach QBs if wanted, doesn’t need to be made the QB coach because he’s also coached WRs, helped UMass finish 38th in Offense, and is obviously an alum who would probably like to be here a good portion of time.

Bendenbaugh, Sark, Yost are my top choice for OC.

Exactly. Dude helped create the best offense in the country which has produced back to back Heisman winners. He's also an O-line guru. I don't care that much that he hasn't called plays, he still checks more boxes than basically any other hire.

There is always all this talk about Black head coaches this, or Black head coach that...rightfully so, but it applies to my Latino familia as well. It's the Cuban invasion at the U...bring in Tony Montana as S&C coach...Lmao.

Manny is a smart guy and he knows what Miami football is supposed to look like. When he came in as DC 3 years ago I had my reservations about him, but he proved me wrong. He made Miami defense look and play like we all grew up watching and loving. He had no control on the offensive side of the ball, but now that he's the Head Coach I'm going to give him the chance to turn our offense into what it should be because he fixed our defense.

Manny also knows how vocal our fan base can be when things aren't going the way we expect them too. His comments about this being his dream job and always wanting this job over any other is what gives me hope. You can tell this is the job he wanted and not Temple.

With that said I'll wait till some names start to emerge before I really comment on the person.

Well if called a “coaching search” for a reason. We don’t know his level of interest so if you are interested you contact him and see if he is or he isn’t.
What you don’t do if assume he won’t be and not contact him.
It’s a process.
