OC search

Does anyone know what really occurs on the sidelines on gameday?

How involved, actually, are Mario + Mirabal with OC duties/decisions during the game?

Is Mario setting the guardrails or is he making the final call on the real playcall decisions?

It's ok to criticize and question, but we should do so only from a baseline of the facts.

Step 1) Get Jason Candle another raise
Step 2) 10 round interview with a couple of G5 coordinators. Frank Ponce will get thrown in there as well.
Step 3) Mirabal promotion. Since he’s already coordinating the run game. It’s exactly what Mario envisions.

Haven't we learned our lesson?

Every week we hear our coordinators say “we saw things that weren’t on film”

Yet when it comes to us “we can’t make changes mid season”?

**** outta here (not you just in general)
Either there is too much meddling by Mario/Mirabal with Dawson, or Dawson is a one-trick pony. The truth will come out eventually.

Eric Morris and he tells Mirabal how the OL blocks and schemes up all the plays. Additionally, the offensive mentality is all gas no brakes until up 35 in 4th quarter

What about Charlie Weis Jr. I’m sure Lane calls most fo the plays anyway. Let him come run the O here.
Definite "distinct schematic advantage" 🤣

He lives in Palm Beach.

What about Dan Radakovich? Probably get him cheap.

Weis Jr will get a head coaching job. I don't see him coming here to be OC when he can continue learning under one of the best play callers in the sport. Weis Jr is on my short list to REPLACE Mario.

So we don't know...or do we?

Not picking at you...legitimate pregunta amigo.
Fair question. I can only go by the clues dropped by Dawson himself (which I have either watched, read or heard) where he frustratingly told reporters he doesn’t scheme/call the running game, that he will continue the same running scheme, and his meltdown at Mario on the sidelines yesterday. Mario himself has, on the sidelines pounded his right fist into the left palm, indicating he’s intent on pounding the ball.

Us football Neanderthals can only surmise, mi hermano…

Because at Washington State he was in a tougher conference combined with less talent around him. Also I always believed once teams saw Cam Ward at the combine theres no way he drops past the second round had he'd stayed in the draft that year.
tougher conference?. the pac 12 sucks and especially on defense where most of their defense teams look group of 5 level talent wise.
