OC options?.....

How did we go from Richt needs to go get Yost to him barely being mentioned?
I love Dorsey but do we really want all our main coaches being relatively inexperienced? Diaz never a HC, Banda DC and Dorsey calling the O.
Texted my buddy who does play by play for FAU and said the smoke with Kiffen is just fans hoping, LSU offered a lot more then the 1.7/2 million being thrown around before he took FAU job and he turned it down.

I fully expect a national search to be declared and promote Thomas Brown to playcalling duties by this evening.

Since our offensive play caller is now gone why don't we just promote Brown to play caller? That would be the lazy hire.

What makes you think Yost wants to leave the head coach he has been working with? They’re in the Big 12 now.

You guys have to get past this mindset that coaches are dying to come to Miami.

Please not Frank " I've never called offensive plays" Ponce. He could be a decent not great QB coach but he's not anywhere close to being ready to be a OC. Hopefully this staff doesn't turn into a good ol boys from Dade County deal or we're in bigger trouble next season.

who on the d side has blown you away?

how many d coaches clearly had their unit improve over this year or showed wonderful in-game adjustments or showed they could recruit?

Manny brought in two guys. Banda and Patke. He didn't hire Kul or Simpson and Rumph was the guy with the alleged "much needed South Florida connections". I'm not gonna let the performance against Wisconsin in a cold weather second tier bowl game diminish what they accomplished. Set a school record for TFLs and was a top 5 defense. It would be the same as saying, 'what did Don Brown really do at Michigan this year?" because Florida had their way in bowl game.

The weird part is he hired Kendall Briles as OC. That was a home run. D’Onofrio was an attempted bunt that hits you in your own face.

And it would cost almost exactly the same as Rick plus his budgeted 1 mil coordinator
