OC options?.....

Todd Monken is available. Called offensive plays for the Bucs this year. Highly ranked offense even though the teams sucked in general.

There are numerous OC’s I would be very excited about hiring, especially Bedenbaugh or Kiffin. I wouldn’t mind Applewhite or Yost either. If Manny is thinking in this same vein then he will already be successful at Miami over Richt and his archaic offensive concepts. The question becomes will Diaz force the new OC to take Hartley and/or Dugans? What about Brown? Personally I don’t see all the benefits of keeping TB unless the masses believe he’s the reasoning behind us landing Lo and Cam last recruiting class?

You don't see the benefit of keeping TB? Are you pro-cancer?

Why would Kiffen go from being a HC to an OC? Use your brains, people.
It’s called $$$$ and a chance to go back to a power 5 school. No one is knocking on his door right now to be a head coach. Building a great offense at Miami after what we went through means it’s his system and not just Alabama players. Would make him a pretty hot candidate if he can do it.

We need a proven play caller so...no particular order

1) Warren Ruggiero- Wake Forest
2) Brett Faulkner- Ark St
3) Mike Wright- Toledo
4) Mike Lynch- Syracuse
5) Mick Yurcich- Ok St
6) Tim Albin- Ohio
7) Graham Harrell- North Texas

3 & 7 sound about right.. but like everything that makes sense... it wont happen, we will hire some clown.

I wish I had editing skills and could get Sebastian in there instead of the elephant.

Eric Morris

Current HC of Imcarnate Word in Texas.
Spent 5 years as OC at Texas Tech. Played for Leach and coached at Waxzu for a season.

Out of the box hire. Not a big name. But could be an innovator on O and bring the air raid to South Florida.

Yuck. I do not want someone who could only muster 14 points against Army and gets fired from Houston as OC.
Army held OKlahoma to 21 points in regulation in Norman so that statement holds no water as they scored over 30 the other 12 games

Why do people think Lane is an option for OC he’s the head coach of FAU. Is he looking ? Is he on his way out there? Or is it the picture of him in UM gear at the orange bowl last night lol. I honestly want to know bc I would love him here but don’t want to be getting my hopes up if it’s just posters blowing smoke

I could get behind the Kiffen as OC and Fancy as the QB coach/OCIW when Kiffen bolts for the league.

I’d keep Hartley, Dugans, and Brown unless the new OC presented a case for replacing them with coaches who are far superior in every facet especially technique and are at least comparable or better at recruiting. Diaz knows how much everyone has truly contributed on this staff while we can only speculate to a degree.

My only concern with T. Brown is just how involved was he in that horrific offense. Was he a quiet dissenter/empty suit or was he partly responsible and an architect of it as well. If he wasn’t ****ed about it and was complicit then he must go as well.

Good thing is that Diaz knows whether he was or wasn’t.

In no order:
Harrell
Gleason from Princeton
Larry Fedora

All realistic options. People talking about Kiffin or flipping Yost from TT are insane.

I can tell brown believes it was all execution by players or lack of.

At this point I don't really care about what type of O they run, I just want someone who actually game plans for defenses week in and week out. Is that too much to ask?
