There is no stacking the team with Emory, if Emory wasn't here he would likely be at East Carolina or some low end G5 school battling for a QB1 job. He absolutely can never be QB1 week 1 for a Miami Hurricanes job and the minute he is , is the minute Mario starts settling. Can you imagine going on the Road to Notre Dame or Ohio State with Emory at QB? It would be a massacre. This elite defense isn't going to be a every year thing unfortunately.

Correct. He can’t. And my understanding from several people is it isn’t even close. And since there is no spring portal, a decision needs to be made now, before Nichol has a chance to try again so they need someone better than what they have. They’d be negligent not getting a qb in the portal on the hope that he can beat out a putrid Emory.

Surround him with solid OLine running game and receivers and he will thrive.

Yes. I’d take Bailey for market value and that’s not a blank check but it’s probably $3-4 M I’d think.

I know. I also think Luke could take a step and beat Emory out in spring but I don’t think it’s enough. If we’re looking at what’s possibly available, Lagway and Bailey are better than what we have today and I’d take Bailey first. Not great options.

This is astonishing. I don’t think we saw the same Lagway. He is a terrible QB so far. He could barely throw an accurate out route last year.

No...Emory should be playing at FIU/FAU, not a team coming off a National Champ that wants to continue reaching a similar level of performance.
