Obvious Qb choice left: Lagway

Sad we're dealing with this situation. Would I rather have had other options? Yes. Many. But Lagway is far much better option than going only with current roster. We need more comp at that spot. Lagway went to the same rehab program as Beck, who is on record saying the kid is a hard worker. That program was broken, can't blame the QB for bad development. He's naturally very gifted.

Lagway is really bad. I can't stress this enough. Over the last two seasons, he's thrown 28TDs and 24 INTs. That's abysmal and reflects a QB who can't process or read a defense.

The only reason we're talking about him is because he was a 5-star HS recruit and the media hyped him up as UF's savior.

He sucks.

Good size good arm athletic and experienced Qb who would be cheap as well.
Surround him with solid OLine running game and receivers and he will thrive.
Prefer Lagway over current QBs by far.

Lagway was never taught. If coached up I think the sky is the limit.
 
IMO we should be building for our next run in 2027--going to be near impossible to replace Bain, Mesidor, Scott, Thomas, and Mauigoa (Add in Moten and Bell too if they go) for next year.

D would you take Marcell Reed if he jumped in the portal right now? I'm asking because that dude has been in the SEC for 3 years and weights 180 maybe 185. Not saying I'm championing for Coleman but there are many tiny QB's now. I just want someone that can step in and just do the job. Sh^t i don't care if a skeleton is out there. Score a TD.

Ehh He’s another DJ ukulele ..at some point you have to show that you are capable of living up to that 5 star rating & im not talking flashing a nice throw one or two games here n there.

He may be but Napier was a loser and his system sucks. We’ve seen guys get “rehabilitated” before. He’s obviously not my first, second, or ninth choice but we’re nearing the end of the music and there’s not many chairs left here.
