An important win for the program. It wasn't pretty on offense but the delta between 3-5 (tough to climb out of) and 4-4 is significant. If the team can close out the season strong & win a bowl game, it can build from here. With Brevin, Lorenzo, Pope, Mallory, Wiggins and Harley, the offense could improve significantly next year if the OL is fixed & Jarren continues to grow.

Jarren finally showed some real fight coming in the 4th quarter & refusing to lose. He showed toughness & leadership on his scramble to get that key first down. He also threw a great ball to KJ for the go-ahead TD. Until this point, N'Kosi had shown more moxy & competitiveness on the field. Jarren is unquestionably the more accurate of the two QBs. If he can continue to show that type of leadership & fire, Jarren could be the guy.

Rousseau is showing why he should have been starting from Day 1. Manimal. Our most disruptive DL by far.

Defense plays much better with Manny's increased involvement. Did a solid job limiting Pitt to FGs.

Posters really should stop posting about players bailing & hitting the portal. This team needs to stay together & grow together. It could be much better next year, if:

(i) the OL is addressed heavily in the portal, through strong player development & recruiting (and we get a new OL coach);
(ii) Jarren really progresses as a leader;
(iii) Lingard comes back 100% next year;
(iv) the kicking issues are fully addressed through recruiting and/or the portal; and
(v) we get a new special teams coach, special teams units get the right player personnel & they become a major point of emphasis (together with form tackling).

It was great to see the team refusing to lose on the road.

It's like few in here actually watched the game....CIS bein CIS
Just because we made a kick today doesn't mean the kicking situation has been fully addressed. We should always strive to have one of the top 10 kickers in the nation (the way it used to be) as opposed to solely relying on walk-ons and shaky scholarship kickers. It has cost us so many games this year alone. There is still much work to be done to truly fix the kicking situation.

This team has been in a INCONSISTENT, Helter Skelter up and down type of mode all season. So who knows what will happen next week against FSU. Remember the Virginia win. A lot of momentum and what not. Then enter a crappy GA. TECH team.

If Enos can drill into JW to tuck and run more instead of hanging on to the ball for too long we might have something

I know the team has been inconsistent but this win is HUGE going in to FSU. That game is always different. We NEEDED this win - the guys didn't quit and had faith in each other. I think they are going to play BIG next week.

My only concern is linebacker. McCloud said in his post game interview that he expects this to be his last game. He still wants to redshirt. It will be interesting to see what we do if Pinkney cannot play next week...

I’m tough on this team, and this win doesn’t change that major changes still need to be made, but man this was a good win. On the road, w/o our starting RB....just gutsy. Thank you Narduzzi for playing not to lose on their 2nd to last possession!

Maybe the formula to success is play the struggling QB, until things get tough, then put in back up QB b/c he’s trying to get the QB1 spot. 🤷🏾‍♂️
