Observation on GT

With what’s coming out with the NBA, baseball umpires still missing calls after watching reviews, football refs missing offsides (Ga Tech player offsides), calling a play dead (Brown touchdown, Toney calling a fair catch), and many other games you watch. It’s not too far fetched that games are rigged and players shave points, I mean watch some of the plays where that basketball player (Rozier, I think was his name for Portland??) commits turnovers, so obvious.

I’m still strong on them losing at least 1 conf game. Idk who it’ll be, but GT aint going 12-0/11-1, I’d be beyond shocked.
UVA too, -003049499494% chance they both run the table in conference. Still so many games left, just let it play out. We just need to handle our business.

I hate to say it, but I'm afraid some coaches are in on it as well. How can they not wonder if games are being rigged, if the average fan sees it? Are they in on the script? I mean they get paid a crap ton of money, and they never really, REALLY, question bad calls. Oh they will do enough to appease the fanbase for a minute, but that's it.

I swear, it's all looking more and more like professional wrestling. I think in a few years we will all look back on it and think, like our 10 year old selves realizing wrestling was fake, that it was so obvious. How did we not see it? I think we see it, but we don't want to believe it. I also think it's far worse than any of us can imagine. Even my conspiracy theory riddled rear end.

Instead of trying to have to depend on another team crapping the bed in order for our Canes to reach their goals, we should be concerned about our own shortcomings and getting them corrected.

Told my wife this morning, Im about to give up on sports altogether, not really, I only watch college football for the time being.

Something is just off with it all. I'm trying to watch our game tonight, and it just doesn't make any sense. None of it. Nothing we are doing is making sense. It's like we are playing for the under. Under the 29.5, and under the point total. We are not trying to score points in a timely manner, if at all.

For sure, there was an NFL that did it in for me, I think it was Washington vs Philly, I forget how or what team dominated for 3 quarters and then the 4th the other team came back from 20-30 down to win it, I thought, yeah that’s rigged, you mean it took the other team 3 quarters to figure it out?? There was an Oriole pitcher, threw the ball right down the middle, right around the knees of the batter, ball, the catcher and pitcher just stared in belief. I mean it’s nothing new seeing game changing plays, it goes way back, to the “Shoeless” Joe Jackson days with the 1919 World Series, nothing surprises anymore.
