Observation on GT

All of that is true but don’t see them losing before maybe Georgia

They should have lost to Wake Forest. They were underdogs at Duke. They can lose to any of these teams (ok prolly not BC). I like them and like Brent Key. But they are absolutely overrated.

With that said, if we played them, 21-16 GT and Haynes King would run for 197 and two scores.

King is the engine that drives that team. He's really solid and seems to have the ability to make a play when they need it.
He's the reason I'm not sold on Key. We all know a great QB can make a coach look a lot better than he really is.
Unlike Mario, Key has figured out at least how to cut down on the boneheaded plays and penalties. Vandy and GT will have a lot of work to do to replace their QB's that are the clear heart and soul of the program.

I hope they win out and make the ACC title game top 3. They are our kryptonite but I want to beat the highest ranked team possible.

We just need UVA and UL to each lose one.

Their schedule is an absolute joke but their style of play leaves them ripe for an upset. They purposely play to minimize possessions which means even if they’re playing lights out on offense they’re not getting enough opportunities to build any type of big lead. It’s really tough to win every week when you’re constantly playing in one score games. We saw it in 2017 and last year. One crazy bounce can be the difference between winning and losing when every game is close.

They depend so much on King just willing then to victory usually with his legs. You are asking that kid to hold up for 12 games? They are one injury to King away from disaster.

GT is definitely overrated but who cares? As long as they keep winning with their easy schedule they will stay in the mix.

NCSt is their toughest away game and they may drop that one.

If they are still undefeated going into Pitt, I think they just play bro-ball with Haynes King and run over Pitt at home in Atlanta.

UGA is a neutral site away game in Atlanta since it is being hosted at Mercedes Benz stadium. Guaranteed to be more UGA fans.

Tech fans more than anything want to beat UGA after last years 7OT debacle…then at least play in the ACC championship.

Team has a lot of heart and follows their QB, decent defense, but overall is very beatable. Probably a top 15-20 team in a normal year if Haynes King stays healthy.

A dream season for Tech for sure…they haven’t been 6-0 since 1966 (had a tie early during their 1990 championship season with Marco Coleman for Fins fans)

Were outplayed in the Duke and wake games. Won both.

Really hard to win every week. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to get to the end of this deal with no one in the league undefeated and only 1-2 teams with 1 loss.

There’s a reason Miami still has the 2nd best odds to win the conference.

I was watching the WF game live. WF intentionally tried to get them to jump offsides to get a first down. That would have ended game. GT falls for it and ref doesn’t make call. When watching it live I never thought that somehow an ACC ref was ******** us even when we are not playing.
I was watching it live as well. He was so offsides that the QB took a deep shot, knowing they had the call.

It's calls like that that lead me to believe games are rigged.

Their games should look a little familiar to us Miami fans. They play down to the level of inferior opponents and they get up for the big games.

Agreed. That side judge has one job and it happened right in front of his face.

GT is literally a Death by 1000 paper cuts. **** is infuriating!.. but its what they do.

It was definitely one of the most horrible “missed” calls I’ve ever seen. Ref was definitely blind. Reminded me of basketball when the last 2 minutes of the games are in the hands of the refs when it comes to foul calls.
