Offense:
Brad - He has thrown his share of picks already (All passes where to the right receiver just off)...BUT a big positive so far is that he is choosing the correct receiver to throw to almost 80% (way higher than a senior Morris) of the time and is not afraid of the middle of the field. The only bad thing is he is a little off with the timing and the correct bullet/lob for each throw. I think he will be a good by the end of the season and real nice next season.

Duke is duke.

Yearby - Is better than Gus and its not close. Won't break many 50 - 60 yards runs but will give us a bunch of 20's during his career.

Gus - Horrible short yardage back (no initial burst). A nice off tackle back though. Any 3rd and 1 he is in, we aint getting it!

Choc - Is going to be good for us but is not ready. Even on his touchdown run if you rewatch it, he couldn't figure out which arm to put the ball.

Receivers:

Herb - Looks like the most complete right now

Stacy - I'm thinking he's not all the way ready to be a go to receiver but is still our 1 or 2 playmaker on team.

Defense:

I think we look WAAYYY better here than we have in years. We just don't have the depth (Came into play bigtime against LOU. When we couldn't get a first down on O)

Grace - Is a monster in the making and is very strong for his size. I would say he has denzel type strength with sean spence type instincts.

Denzel - Is a two down thumber. He is great vs the run but is a easy completion in coverage. Louisville attacked him and Kirby many times in pass coverage.

Kirby - He is playing alright. Not a JAG people make him out to be but not Grace like potential

Armbrister - Playing like a beast so far. Blitzing and stopping the run. Makes me wonder what could be if we could keep some linebackers for 4 years and groom them smh.

DBs: Look rock solid

Deon - looks back and I like the fact we have him walking down playing man against spread. Because he is not the best center fielder

Jamal - playing fast and physical. Will be a big time player for us.

All the corners are playing good.

Overall we have a worse or same record as last year but this team is better. Sounds crazy I know lol

Were you getting gimped with a ball gag in your mouth while watching it the second and third time. Fcking *********.

You are a glutton for punishment for watching those games 3 times, but I appreciate the post. I think this OL (and Coley's play calling) prevents us from getting more than 5 wins.

I watched some games last year and we used plenty of 4 WR sets. I think the coaches are going over board trying to protect Brad. Play calling has been scaled down tremendously! That is the problem with the O, not counting the OL issues.

Until we decide to start McDermott at RT and get Darling into the rotation the OL is going to continue to suck and be an impediment to success.

The coaching failures will be the biggest impediment and will be the likely reason we only win 6 games top.

look on the bright side. watching the louisville game three times means our offense had 600 yards

iam not saying its not his fault (james coley) but kayaa probably hasnt even learned the whole playbook hes only had four months. there is only so many plays that coley could call

kayaa really should have got a shirt..

jake heaps should have righted the ship till ryan got back

kayaa is gonna be great but he's hitting the fire way to early

Doesn't matter. If he is as good as some think, he won't stay 5 years anyway. If he isn't as good as some thing, then who cares how long he stays.

Dumb Al should have signed Brewer instead of Heaps. He let Flubberneck get the far superior QB.

Spot on man. The only thing I would like to add is that Courtel is a great addition to the D-Line, which I think will be much better this year than last.

heaps looked as bad or worse than kaaya.

Good post, unfortunately anything other than the sky is completely falling gets you mocked these days.
