Obligatory, what are Wisky fans thinking thread.....

Another game where they’ll shut down our run game.

We’ll have WRs open down the field. We’ll see if Rosier can actually hit them.

Wisky fans freaking out

Got our tickets through UW today. Our seats are in 204 right behind the end zone. Apparently, they are part of “Club LIV”, a dance club in the stadium? Seems kind of weird the UW allotted tickets would be there. Does anyone know anything about this section?

$170 or $230 Allotment for Section 204 Club LIV? I went to Hard Rock Stadium Official website and it seems like a pretty unique “South Beach” experience...However, I want to watch the game and not be drowned to death with Club/Techno music. Hoping my seats are not in Club LIV

It was the $230 allotment. I too am worried about the techno music

Article posted today in WSJ....UW still has 7,000 tickets remaining of the 14,500 allotment. I thought we would at least eat through our allotment. It is the Orange Bowl in South Fl. Hopefully more Badgers fans are buying on the secondary market to fill Hard Rock Stadium with more Red. Obviously playing in the Orange Bowl vs Miami is essentially a home game for them, but to have to play in the atmosphere like Notre Dame walked into would by a huge disadvantage IMO.

they're thinking, wait... Miami will only have a total of 7 practices and 2 walk thrus since Dec. 2nd??? this is going to be a breeze.

Richt is 10-5 in bowl games, including 6-3 in New Years Day games. I think he knows what he's doing, especially in a unique situation (team hasn't had any time off since the middle of September.

It almost like no one on this board has any S&C experience. Look at the way the team played the last 2 weeks of the season. There was so much accumulated fatigue, and you could see it in the movement patterns. It ended up causing a bunch of really important injuries.

I'm sure that they are watching film and doing light conditioning, but this will help us way more than practicing hard. This isn't the 50s. Science knows a lot more about handling fatigue.

Tell you what, we made the same smart *** remarks about them in 2009 when we got slotted to play them in Orlando. ****, I even thought the same thing...that they were slow, big lazy white boys from the North East with a fast dude at rb. And what happened? Those slow white boys plowed right over us and we lost the game...embarrassing, and that was with a Randy Shannon Canes defense, not the Folden Wefense. We better come to play and execute for 4 quarters or we will take another L

Great contribution. Really relevant post.

Our 2009 team was soft as baby **** and their best win was over an 8 and 5 Oklahoma team who had lost Sam Bradford to injury. They sucked.

The 2009 defense sucked too. It’s not like Jon Lovett was putting together vaunted defensive units.

Defense didn't suck, but it wasn't great. It was ok. It gave up 22.2 ppg at a time when offenses weren't lighting it up like they are today.

i think our fans are the one who are delusional. hate on my all you want but i have seen nothing the last three games of the season that makes me think will win particularly in light of the key injuries. and this is not going to be anything close to a rabid home crowd. tickets are pretty plentiful in the secondary market. our fans don't seem to be lining up to go to this game. probably be a 50/40/10 crowd at best. 10 percent being neutrals.
