I think it's a good matchup in that Miami is a similar team to us. Obviously need to avoid the turnovers and that chain.

Not wild about the fact that it's a de facto home game for Miami, but whatever.

Miami has fewer fans (real fans) than UW, so there is that.

Yeah, all 12 Miami fans who still root for them when they're not in the national championship hunt might show up. That could be trouble.

Wisconsin didn't fare too badly the last time they played the U in a bowl game. This time though Miami's players won't have to huddle around heaters like they had to last time in the frigid climes of Orlando.

I once heard Miami's fanbase described as a mile wide but an inch deep

Have you seen the likes of THE U fans? **** me, they are worse than tOSU wanna be grads. A large amount didn't go to the U but they show up in masses and they are a scary bunch. The Champs bowl a few years ago was like walking into Walmart after 10p.

Was looking forward to the bowl game this year, but will be skipping now

I'm not excited about the matchup either. Think Badgers will be favored and can win, but would rather be playing Notre Dame, USC or Auburn in a bowl.

As a UW Alum living in Miami, I couldn't be happier with this matchup. Not simply because the game is a 20 minute drive away from me (though it's a perk), but because the local sports media has been insufferable to listen to the last few weeks. A lot of the radio personalities are former Miami players and the disrespect shown to Wisconsin when discussing potential playoff scenarios has been grotesque. Completely uninformed analysis about our team and no respect whatsoever for our program. Constant talk of how we aren't deserving, we are too slow, we are boring and that we would be blown out by every potential team in the field (including THE U). And certainly no context or knowledge that we have been a far superior program to them for the last decade and a half or remembrance that we beat them handily in a bowl game not that long ago. So while I'm disappointed about last night's game, this matchup is a decent consolation prize.

Toilet Bowl Alert - based on our last game against Miami, their fans have an aversion to flushing the toilet after defecation. Check it out and flush prior, to avoid cross germination. Monsignor can give more details. The Mist and I made him use the public toilets in our hotel; he had issues with Miami fans.

I wonder how many of them actually watched the Badgers.
My guess is not many because it's tough to watch a game..................if them tubes are blowed up in that there TV sittin' on a stack o' them there tires and the coat hanger TV antenna stuck in the dead cat ain't bent just right. I can't wait to punk 'em in their own crib.

I think UW goes down there and completely ***** up Miami. I'm not surprised by the point spread at all. UW wants to show it was as good as its ranking, and I don't think Miami is as good as theirs. The difference in football savvy will ooze out of the TV screen.

I really need to know where some of these programs delusions of grandeur comes from. I can understand the Florida schools, but Wisconsin?? Lmao

Seem pretty reasonable frankly. I mean, they are favored and for us to get our assess reamed by the only real team we played this year after almost 15 years of playing like trash doesn't give us a whole lot to hang our hat on coming into this, or anyone else any reason to fear us.

If we show up like Pitt and show them no respect, we will be embarrassed. If we show up like Va Tech, angry and hungry, it'll be a fun end of season!

The Walmart reference was funny.

I just looked up People of Walmart / Wisconsin

It seems to me the U starts off with a couple of advantages over Wisconsin.
1.Home field advantage. No question the U plays with more spirit when at home.
2.Overall speed.Miami at anytime can go the distance.
3.Our overall receiving corp is better.A healthy Richards is a huge upside.Wisconsin has lost some of
there better receivers.
4.I'll take our overall defense against theres.
5.Wisconsin is disappointed they have to go to OB,they deserve Auburn,Bama or OSU again.

However,Wisconsin has some advantages where we are behind.
1.I will take there QB over Rosier.
2.There kickers are overall better than ours. But I do like sure handed Berrios.
3.Wisconsin always has had a great offensive line quite similar to ND.But the U will
need same level of effort otherwise there OL will prevail.
Who do I think will win?Don't know, but if Miami remains underdog by 6.5,I'll take the U.

His stats are horrible! His TE is his go to guy & he has a penchant for trying to force the ball leading to TO's. This is a toss up at best and if Rosier is healthy it's a + Miami.

Hopefully they are think along the same line as Notre Lame fans and players before our game. Let them come in over confident and thinking they will be able to do whatever they feel like, then we smash them.

Their QB is related to John Hornibrook, QB on the famous gator flop play. I believe he is John's grand-nephew.

The one comment seemingly every school likes to make that baffles the **** out of me is , "didn't go to school there" apparently every other school in the countries fan-base is made up solely of alumni.

They do not even know the Cane fan culture. Walmart. Do they not know Miami fans are thugs and criminals.

Wisconsin is not an elite team in the class of a Clemson like some on this board insinuate. They are a little better version of ND. Our best 2 games were against ranked teams at home. They are a ranked team at our home. I like our chances

if their d backs/linebackers/dline/widerecievers/tight ends/runningbacks are the same speed as us I will worry. They are not.

we roll 34-13 they score a garbage time touchdown.
