I feel bad for the fans who will never get a chance to experience a good Miami team playing a big night game in the Orange Bowl.

If you listen to the commentary during this game, they really expected UofH’s offense to eventually put up 100 points on someone. Ran into a **** buzz saw this game though. This was an era where we really got up for big games or games where we felt disrespected.

Almost felt sorry for them until they scored a cheap TD at the end of the game and the receiver danced in the end zone. Erickson was incredulous on the sideline. Good times.

Got to see us smash notre dame live last year.

A lot of the long timers there told me it was shades of the OB.

My favorite OB game has to be 1989 v. ND.

There was Roman Collesiums not as bloodthirsty as Canes fans that night.

Also, the 85 Bears game where the refs were begging people to not be so loud.

I’m only 24 so I only was able to attend a handful of OB games but 2003 vs Florida was one I’ll never forget haven’t seen anything close to that at hard rock aside from Notre Dame last year.

One of my favorites too. Just watching him on tape and seeing how much effort he gave every play is inspiring.

We might've had better DE's. But very few gave more than Rusty did.
