O Line Stats

Really like Gould, but I'll just say that if I were doing this these numbers are way off. I can show you a play right off top of my head where Boulware should have a Run Miss in his vernacular. He didn't take stunter who blew up a run play. Another he blocked down rather than taking LB.

And they pulled Mahoney in the middle of a series he was whipped so badly against FSU.

It’s ok to say Vaughn sucks. His body of work since he’s been here is definitely not great. I don’t know why he gets such a pass. He wasn’t amazing last year either. He got WORKED in a few games last year.

he's a freshman All-American bro. he was 3x better inside
 
He can be whatever. He got worked against NC st., pitt, Clemson, and a couple other games were OK. How many freshman start at OG around the country? what’d he beat out 5-7 other guards for the AA nod? I’m just saying he needs work. And up to now, he sucks at T. A true freshman is light years ahead of him no? So why is it so ok to crush everyone but him?
 
Jones is terrible. We need to stop playing politics and just start the best player.

That chart tells me several things:
1. J. Jones is mierda
2. St Louis has been a major disappointment in his senior year shift to LT
3. Our strength at the point of attack and to hold blocks is Charmin soft...Searles & Felder must do better.

He never played against NC state.

What it screams is its time to let Scaife get full game experience - watch him pass block he's got a huge upside. With half a season gone, a couple of the other guys are on the elevator heading down, no improvement and this was like a mid term final with FSU's D-line.

Sometimes its a matter of one or two guys that fix an O-line.

I made a commitment to keep screaming it till it happens. Frustrating. It was evident a while back. He'll have his rough moments, but he's simply got better balance. Let him take his lumps.

This is exactly the lineup that I have been screaming for. It's the only lineup that makes sense and it's the only lineup that will allow this OL and by extension this offense the opportunity to maximize their potential by the end of the year. I'll even go as far as saying that if Rick doesn't recognize this and does not go to this specific lineup, he is a fool point blank, period, end of story!
