What has any of those 3 shown to be 3/5 of an OL for a $25m roster? I can’t imagine Mario rolls with this group. I can see Jackson playing RT because his NIL $ is going to be ridiculous and I think Samson has settled at LG. The rest to me right now are unproven. McCoy had been rocky at guard so just assuming he can go to RG I am not sure. Maybe he plays LT if Bell goes.

+ Kinsler is very good. He’ll get his shot in the interior.
+ I’ve seen enough of Okunlola at LG to see his physicality increase as the season has gone on. I think he can play LT.
+ Center depends on the spring, but I dont think that Rodriguez is the guy.
+ At RG, Buchanan has been stuffing ****s in the dirt in mop up duty.
+ At RT, let McCoy and the kid from Missouri figure it out.

LG - McCoy/Missouri
C - Francavilla or Rodriguez
RG - Kinsler
RT - McCoy/Missouri

You also have guys making strides like Minaya and Plazz.

Ya I just saw that senior day pic…When I read it was before the pic. I doubt him walking is a good sign of coming back.

I’m holding out hope that Bell comes back and you have a LT LG RT and then figure out RG and C

This is pretty much what I was thinking… wouldn’t shock me if we AGAIN got a center out of the portal. Even though I think Rodriguez would be a very good center who I think started week one 2 years ago at LG for us.

Cantwell I think is probably a lock at RT… doubt it was guaranteed in his recruitment but I think he will be a road grading RT day one and can do enough not to be too much of a pass blocking liability while he earns his stripes.

Agee he’s a likely lock unless a total disaster.

McCoy and Samson likely man the left side.

I think Rodriguez may get his shot at C.

Kinsler, Buchanan, and others fight for RG.

Not opposed to a bigtime Tackle or Center pickup in the portal, if available, but mindful of the cost.

Great news. I did not even realize he had eligibility left. That would be massive. No pun intended.

My only concern with Cantwell is that he was worked over pretty hard in that UA game last year.

Even Mauigoa struggled out there as a TFr until almost the end of the year.

Still, I’d let him fight for it. If he’s earned in practice here against the wave of pass rushers we have…he’d be ok in the ACC
 
I’d bet money we go after a big time OT, and will be an attractive option for them with Mauigoa getting all this R1 buzz and the money they know we’ll spend.

We can’t just give McCoy, (who has been significantly underwhelming in both pass pro and in run game at GUARD), a spot to protect the corner against more athletic guys, and then just give the other spot to a true FR, as talented as he is. Absolutely not, especially to McCoy. If he gets butt hurt and wants to walk then ✌🏾. TF has he done to earn a spot?

*Assuming Bell leaves of course, he should 100% come back though.
 
I really hope Bell gets good advice. I think he could benefit greatly from another year. Every DE/DT in the NFL is "all-conference".

i would definitely bring in a center and a veteran tackle.

Both being nfl grade level. Early thoughts...Telly Lockette (Former Miami Central hc and current coach at MARSHALL) Son is a solid interior guy from the g5 level in the transfer portal. Now if he wanted to learn the center spot i would be tempted to just give hima visit since he wouldnt be expensive nil whatsoever.

I don’t remember him struggling. Yes, he gave up a few sacks. But for the most part, he was good the entire year. Which blew me away knowing he was a TF.

Yeah… I hope we don’t assume Cantwell will be Cici. As Cici playing at IMG seems likely to have been more ready.

I’ve been underwhelmed with McCoy. Pancake has shown some progress this year… Neither have been great. At Center we’ve been underwhelming this year. It’s not exactly promising that the Centers we’ve got are sitting behind our play this year.

I think/hope Bell comes back.

But also it’s time for Mirabel and Mario to earn their reputations. We had the highest graded interior OL in SJ. We have a 5* in Pancake. Of all those recruits the last couple years at least one or two got to be playable.
