Toss out the FAMU game and I’m sure the numbers start getting sad

The interior of that line is going to get our 10 mil heisman front running QB killed before the season ends… that’s on mirabal

If we had money for seaton you can’t tell me we couldn’t get a 3rd team all conference guard and center and still have some left over for a rainy day, I know those two positions aren’t paid as much as a 1st round LT

This means literally nothing. It's comparing an average over an entire season to a 3 game window in which 2 of the 3 games were against Stanford and FAMU.

Agree in part but we (I am as guilty as anyone on this Board) make Mirabal out to be a savant of OL coaches. All I am saying is that he has missed on many players especially along the IOL. The misses are either poor evals, lack of development or both. My point is that he should not be immune from criticism when the OL plays this poorly.

As for the most recent class, I agree it is very promising. You failed to mention Woodrow and Pickett. I am high on both players. It’s possibly Mirabal’s best class and could anchor or line for years to come.

Oh yeah 100% agreed, I will say I do trust him to find the right combo of guys before the year ends

Meh…. I think ego is hard to overcome— and as coaches they’re just as susceptible to group think as any other body of people - like a business team

I will withhold my opinion as to whether I see real development & growth — which we all saw last season when the chips weren’t down and we had to win convincingly down the stretch….

And player & coach development— different metrics same goal-

If I dont see rotation and SJ sitting a fair amount then I’m not optimistic going forward.

I know it’s a mortal sin to say anything negative about Mirabal but since he’s been the OL coach at Miami he’s had more whiffs in recruiting than hits. I haven’t verified by looking at every class but it sure does feel that way, especially if you exclude the portal additions which were necessary to compensate for the high school recruiting whiffs.
