I don't think this has been mentioned yet so I'll keep it short and sweet.

Are we going to fix the OL?

My proposed solution would be to essentially have open tryouts with all 19 OL on roster against Central Michigan.

Al Golden had good lines Brandon Linder, Ereck Flowers, Feliciano, Seantrel Henderson, Shane McDermott.. all NFL guys! He just couldn’t let go of his wefense!

Yep. Had he evolved from his rigid 1980s upper north bulked up style to something more dynamic with our athletes here, he would have done some damage

Not getting Seaton really hurt us bad.
 
Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same.. You can only hide the issues soo long.. I tried to say setting edge is not the issue, its an entire oline with no vet experience at position and one guy who has started games.. Not a good recipe to depend on soo many game inexperience guys.. Idc who the coach is..

I truly hope they scrap the SJ idea. We are going to waste Mensah.
 
Mario's failure to use the portal to shore up the O-line is borderline criminal. He and Mirabal bet on themselves, let's see what happens.

Inexperience is only a small part of this line’s problem. SJ and Rodriguez (who’s been here for over half a decade) simply aren’t Miami starting caliber talents. I have no idea how our supposed OL gurus didn’t recognize this.

I’m still hoping Buchanan will improve with time, but he looks way smaller than I expected.

Many of us who were raising the warning flags about this all through the summer were told “don’t worry Guysm”. Whiffing on the portal was the first misstep. Trotting out SJ and MB as guards for the first 3 games is another

Ok so we have to go class by class and find out who the big dawgs are who ready to step up, Where is Deryc Plazz, Juan Minaya, Nino Fancavilla, Bell bounced to nfl from '24 class, Jaden Wilkerson, Demetrius Campbell, none of these guys wanna get on the field and do something?

Was told all offseason, oline is fine, we just gonna shuffle some guys and they gonna be war ready after first few games.. Its time, shuffle and break out the big dawgs.. SJ got his make a wish granted now he can do whatever he pleases..
