Ny Carr gone - nowhere

Can't blame the kid at all. Our OC Dawson sucks for rotating people in and out of the line up.

Surprised to learn that Carr played in 5 games along with a handful of othres who probably should've had their eligibility retained.

Carr, Lightfoot, Hayes, Robinson, Blount, Francavilla to be specific

Wasn't the redshirt limit increased to 5 games? I know the bowl game doesn't count anymore

yea playing 4 wr's only last year was wack but .. I don't regret it because I liked the 4 we played and they were all special imo but the were definitely enough snaps to give the young guys some PT big time
Let’s not forget ray ray did get some snaps in garbage games and jojo would of got snaps if he didn’t get injured mid season

Nobody plays any defense in the state of Georgia. Every Friday night is a 42-38 type score. It's borderline 7-on-7. Their offensive players have free rein.

Kinda joking but not really...
Part of me wonders though...
Since the high school offenses in Georgia are so advanced, are they so far ahead of the defenses that the offensive players face little/no challenges (until they get to college). The offenses are schemed-up so well that kids are running wide open.

Just spit ballin' for the sake of conversation. The GA teams I've coached against have struggled versus us, only to return to Georgia and score 35+ versus every team in their state (including teams that were better than us).

Not saying defenses down here are coached any better, but at the very least they are gonna get in your face and challenge you. (press man coverage, blitz you, etc)

Sad it’s come to this where guys leave after 1 year if they don’t get significant playing time or decent pay.

Wait Ny Carr Got Paid Very Well To sign with Miami for Redshirting was nicked up &!body was Not Ready .
*Year 2 He made Progress but his value went Down because he is not willing to play the Slot & Got pass up by Upshaw & Moore

The Amount they offer is *Base on the Value the see you bring to the team.
I’m sure decent amount of NIL was offer in proportion to the value he brings a speedy deep threat ?
How did he perform in that role?

Eddie had his issues but was far from underwhelming, especially considering the defense he played in.

That is probably a big factor in his leaving, hard to get film here with how little we rotate our receivers.
When you are top heavy like we were last year with X,Horton,Brown and Jacolby and you have to score 50 to win a game....you don't rotate WRs

I'm getting frustrated with guys like this not giving himself a chance. All his offers were from big programs with deep rooms who bring in top WRs every season so it stands to reason we would have transferred no matter where he ended up. So what does it matter that he picked Miami? It almost makes sense to have a minor league or JV system at this point.
I would imagine part of the reason he choose Miami was to play early and start this season when he looked at the WR room. Clearly that ain’t happening.
