I have no problem with Butch. Based on Blake's comments about going after a big names established coach and having the deep pockets to do it tells me they are going all in on Chip Kelly or Gary Patterson. All of this has yet to be proven but this administration has surprised me with their apparent desire to spend the money to be elite. Sure it's only smoke at this point but the tone and the message coming out of the Hecht has been a huge departure from what we are used to hearing. For this reason I think Butch is most definitely a fall back option at this point.

If we strike out on Patterson, Kelly, Gundy etc... then I have no problem with and would welcome Butch enthusiastically. Just by making that effort, this administration is making a statement that the Shalala regime is officially over and that we are going to embrace the winning tradition of this program. I think it's **** exciting that the admin is apparently going after elite coaches and my personal top 2, Chp Kelly and Gary Patterson. I honestly didn't think they had it in them. We'll see what happens
