Ferman said Nunez straight up said no and Navarro said Nunez went through the process and was left with the impression there was way to many voices and called today to tell them he was out.

LOL! Love how people love to defame people by claiming he failed a background check…maybe, hold on to your hats, just maybe UM is a mess up on top and is a complete **** show. Internal fighting within BOT & a weak Prez…not a good mix for a successful campaign…now maybe they do hit a homerun with this search at end of day, but like the saying goes - even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes

Another idiot in Navarro that doesn't know ish. Folks, you're not listening. Frenk, echeverria, Fernandez, and turnkey are the only ones who truly know anything. Turnkey can be sued if there are leaks and the big three aren't talking, so who are these "sources" fat Navarro is talking to? The AD will decide Manny's fate and which head coach to go after. Nunez, torretta, and highsmith are probably the direct sources that told the herald that they interviewed and their friends followed up with how "well" that they did on the interview to build public support. Does anyone here foolishly believe that an unqualified ******* like Nunez, a Cubano from Miami who grew up loving the U and idolized those great hurricane teams, would ever decline a chance to come home and be directly responsible for rebuilding the football, baseball and basketball teams and be beloved in his hometown? C'mon, don't be stupid. They are probably weeding out the candidates and they contacted him and told him no thanks. Then to save face, he tells porky pig Navarro that he "withdrew." It probably also annoyed Frenk and company that he purposefully leaked his name to the media which violated trust and made Frenk's decision easier to drop him.
