So I’m up late last night, and low-and-behold, live sports! F’ing Rugby! I’ll take it.
BUT, here’s why I’m starting a post on this; even though there was no crowd, Fox did a really good job w their crowd sound effects. The Rugby League put pictures of people around the first 3 rows of the stadium seats, personnel filled other spots, and when the action was filmed up close, legit didn’t realize there were no fans in the crowd. It wasn’t until they had the wide views it became obvious, but it was a good watch.
If these networks can do something similar for the upcoming football games, trust me, it will be a good watch. They did a really good job w the NRL, and that’s was their opening game.
Not sure if anyone else peeped it early morning, but I’m a huge Rugby fan being that I grew up around my Polynesian Brothers. It was a nice set up and it could work for football, fa sho.
