Now that signing day is over

Let me help out OP and his keyboard diarhea. No offense, bro, your post could have been brilliant. I didn't read it. At this point we don't need multiple paragraphs to say what needs to be done.
  1. Fire Blake James.
  2. Hire a real AD with bona fide experience and demonstrated success with both football and men's basketball at a Power 5 program, and let him do his job.
  3. Enjoy.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah y'all. It seems for yet another year, we'll just have to be satisfied with being thankful for our wonderful families and our health, as having a football team to root for is yet again not in the cards.

Stay blessed...

If You noticed.. Enos and Barry haven't been active at all on social media.... Like they were already told that 8pm on 12/26 they are hitting the bricks

Good. I want Enos getting his pink slip delivered in his stocking on Christmas morning, though. Same for Blake James.

Manny has to fire himself. Changing staff only gives him an excuse. It's putting bandaids on bullet wounds.

If most (preferably all of) Enos, Stubbs, Barry, Banda, Patke, Baker and Rumph are not fired within 48 hours of the bowl game, then we are most certainly cucked for next year.

Honestly, it's probably highly likely that the offensive side gets gutted but Manuelita keeps his boys, which isn't a solution in the long term. Then again, I don't expect him around after next season.

Wait, is that legit or just wishful thinking?
Historically most assistant coaches contracts have no buyouts. Of course I can't speak to Enos' contract; I haven't read it, but most likely, there is no buyout.

Cheer up guys. Al Blades Jr just dropped a new poem on hope🔥 #TNM

First of all, a pretty **** good signing day. Only 1 guy flipped given our 6-6 debacle. Yes, it could have been a top 10 class with Greene, Francos, and Height, but it's water under the bridge and time to move on. We need to close out the recruiting cycle focused on the offensive line. We need 2 more solid lineman and maybe 1 more defensive lineman (Not urgent since we had 3 good ones last cycle). Give me guys with upside that we can develop. I want the athletes on the line like we recruited last year that will pay off in 3 years. No Zion mentions here. He shouldn't be playing until year 3. That's not his fault.

Next, Manny has to look himself in the mirror. I'm tired of the used car salesman approach. Always spinning. Never accepting responsibility. Even when he says he does, he starts spinning with excuses minutes later. He needs to put his foot down on what is acceptable/unacceptable. If he continues to let guys miss practice and leave the team and come back without any accountability, then we are going nowhere fast. To establish a culture, you have to draw a line in the sand and anyone that crosses it, you get rid of. That's the bottom line.

As far as personnel, I'm not worried about next year. We have the dudes. It's a matter of whether they are developed and take the next step. There are a lot of young guys on both sides of the ball that need to step up and become that guy.

Manny needs to do what has to be done and fire ineptitude wherever it appears, and it starts with Enos. I wanted him to be great here, be he wasn't. I wanted to see improvement, and I did to some degree, but when Miami needed clock in the 4th quarter of the last 2 games, he was huddling like there were no problems at all. It's gross negligence, and a clear grounds for termination.

If Manny wants to keep his job after next year, he fires Enos at 8:00 pm on December 26, and his agent is talking to Art Briles yesterday so he can be announced on December 27. Art will hire his own OL coach who will teach them what they need to know in Art's offense. WR and RB coaches remain TBD until January.

Art Briles did not play players he knew to be rapists. He took the information he had to the compliance department, and he thought they were investigating because, well, it was their job to do that. Not his. After all the dust settled, he ended up looking terrible, but the real fault was in compliance, not the HC of the football team.

A proven spread offense coached by an expert will change things almost overnight at UM. Football will be fun again, for the players and the fans, and recruiting woes will fade away because, like Manny wants, offers from and commitments to the UM will mean more. It will create leverage in recruiting because there will be 12 receivers with largely the same skill level fighting for the 4 WR spots each year. If someone plays games in recruiting, go to the next guy.

I hate it when people make things harder than they need to be.

This would be a true Old School Miami mentality move. Too good to be true in this alternate Beta universe we are living in. This is the type of decisive action required to save our beloved U.

Don't stop with the offense, hire a experience D.C. with a solid background. This defense is also a problem, come on we lost to VT, and GT playing with second and third string QB, we had a Freshman QB lite us up in N.C. : I think Louisville was also starting their second string QB; the reason this defense is highly rated is because we play in the Coastal that basically has no QB's to think off: **** Duke QB was crap till we play them .

Wasn't Manny's dad a "get it done at all costs" mayor? Let's see if Manny got any of that. Does Manny have autonomy on coaching decisions? He needs an aggressive, culture-changing hire on offense. Not someone who has never called plays before. He needs someone whose offensive scheme can handle the challenges that arise during a game, and the expertise to teach the offense to the players, and doesn't forget to laminate his freakin' play card for a rainy game. Art Briles is that man, and he's available, and I bet you he's chomping at the bit to get back to kicking people's asses again.

Old man Diaz was that way only when came to collect checks...
