I truly believe that #9 could really be the answer for Beck and the passing game. He was the leading receiver this past game with 4 catches, but I think if Beck and Dawson focus more on the TE's and especially Lofton, that will loosen up the coverage and open everything up. When JoJo returns, Lofton could open things up for JoJo to take the top off.

We will see two deep safety looks the rest of the season… TE play and Toney will be vital in the middle for eating them up alive on top of running the ball down their throat to light boxes.

Was just looking at the snap counts. 60 for Bauman. Admit he looks lost on some plays but he must be giving some value if playing almost 90% of our snaps.

Gilbert and Schott’s run blocking in practice must be inconsistent at best. They both need a year in the weight room, but you think they’d earn a little playing time with Lofton dinged up and Baumann average at best.

Crazy thing is on a less balanced canes team, lofton would be absolutely eating. Kind of an insane luxury to have both him and Marty to pass block, catch and carry the ball.
