Now here's a tweet that should get the juices flowing:

Tin foil hat time, buckle up boys.

Nick Saban, took the Miami Dolphins job knowing he was actually going to go back to Bama. He was terrified of what Miami could become if they got consistent support from the admin and knew it would be an issue for him to recruit the coveted FL high school players. He took the job with the Phins so he could plant people in the local media whose only job was to talk **** about Miami to make it seem less desirable to local recruits. The roots are now so firmly planted into the Miami media even life long Miami fans that become media members in Miami have no choice but to pile on. 4D Chess boys, Satan was behind it the whole time!

lol if ruiz didnt try to be UMs new mascot, there would be no need for a click bait headline. It sucks that he made his entire persona about UM and his donations (same w Tito 305 miyayo is doing w his twitter account) that it'll always get tied back. this is why in every article about cobbler fridge laz by any paper, they always state hes a UM super fan (the school did invite him to their invite only jersey unveiling in 15 which is hilarious and gross at the same time). at he end of the day, ruiz and us fans LOVED when papers reported UM Booster Ruiz does x and y and z to become this rich or wealthy or signs this kid to this deal because it was good pub. now we hate it bc he may be a fraud. you can't have it both ways. its why I preferred he did it the silent way. you dont ever hear any ties to UM when there is anything going on with Mastec or turnberry or any other company. its because they separate their **** and dont try to be the new ibis. ruiz at the end tied his love for UM into his business publicity so I can't blame a media outlet for tying the two together in articles. he wanted it this way

It's simple. All these writers see what bashing and uncovering issues did for Dan LeBatard and they want to be the next writer to gain fame by trying to tear down UM athletics.

Nonsense. Over the years, the Herald has provided relatively soft coverage of the U — even through the really bad times.

What a soft-shouldered persecution complex. The Herald is obligated to report on local news. Ruiz is local news. It has nothing to do with a vendetta on the university.
