Stuck with Norvell for at least one more year. More coaching changes coming. The culture there is wrecked. Not sure how they get back on track.

He failed here. If there was any humiliation, it flowed in the other direction.

Having said that, I think Manny would be an improvement, but until proven otherwise, I don't think he's a serious CFP type of coach.

He's probably their only realistic choice outside of Deion, who has dipped quite a lot as far as being a successful CFB coach. I think it's those two and Deion probably demands too much to bring him in. If Manny wins 8 games next year, book it - he will likely be the Noles next HC.

Disagree. Miami is a lot better when FSU is down bad like they are today. Some of the players that got us to the playoffs might be in Tallahassee if FSU was doing well. I don’t ever want them to recover.
 
I can't even believe they are entertaining the thought that fool manny, even as a rival fan hiring him would just be beyond pathetic and set that program back another 5 years lol

Nobody who knows football and considers themselves an FSU or even UF fan for that matter would seriously consider taking someone we fired as their head coach. Nevermind all of the reasons one could come up with not to, you would simply ask if they want a guy we fired.

You get all kinds of cuckoo thoughts on a message board, but at least it lets you know who not to take seriously. Case in point, the linked comments.

To Manny's credit, I feel he's gotten better with time. He needs a few more years to see if he'd deserve a big opportunity somewhere. Duke, it's very limited so IMHO he should move on if he can, yes still power 5, but a step up or even MAC school run could do that.
