I assume they'll move up the time of Saturday's game to 12 or 1, because if they don't I ain't showing up with it overlapping football.
 
I've seen enough of this team to realize a couple of things: 1)I don't see a winning basketball player, someone who consistently knows what to do, with the exception of Nijel Pack and 2) L may have been better off going after younger portal guys, I don't think that this mix is going to mesh well, because it's beyond obvious that some of the older guys don't buy into what L is selling. You can see it on the court, a lot of "I know better", hence why no one hustles, no one closes out, no one plays for the guy beside them. It's frustrating to watch.

Maybe this team figures it out and gets going, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I was hoping that L could go out on a high note, but it feels as if he knows something that the rest of us don't. Watching this tournament, I can see something in L I've never seen before, even during the last rebuild. He just seems over some of the nonsense.

Everyone left us hanging for $$$
 
I have to charge this loss to Championship game hangover.
Obviously, the basketball team was down from the 🏈 team losing the National Championship game.
The bright side is that the defense is still solid even though the team is going through an offensive struggle.
Better now than late February and March.
 
The theme of this game is simple:

It's the coach some fans wanted against the coach we got.

Personally, I like the coach we got.
 
A win against NC State would move Miami from 5th to 4th in the ACC.
This puts Miami on a path to finish 2nd in the ACC this season as long as they win out the rest of the season, which includes beating UVA.
Coach Jai Lucas is definitely exceeding all preseason expectations.
 
Advance looks (forecasts) for Monday's poll at CBS and elsewhere don't show Canes creeping in to top 25. (should "receive votes" of course, NC still top 20.) The win on the road at NCState, where we were 4.5 underdogs, wasn't pretty but seems like we are not getting much love and all that.

senseless? NC State was clearly ranked ahead of Miami in bracketology. They were nbr 7 in CBS Sports and Miami was nbr 10. Seems like a really important win, albeit an ugly squeaker. Yet everyone stills seems to have NCState ahead of Miami, for example:
