The U should promote this game starting this week locally. Everyone should wear BLACK and the team should wear grayish black with green helmets. Its a night game might as well start a new tradition for night games. At the old Orange Bowl the stadium was the mecca of South Florida for the Dolphins and Canes. What do you guys think????

No they shouldn't. People have certain color jerseys, they shouldn't be encouraging everyone to have to buy black gear,it won't happen.

if that's what they want, they should have a sponsor doing it with freebies as you enter.

Just so you know, our colors are orange and green.
 
Hate hearing we will probably go all smoke with orange helmets. Do that for VT or GT or other games...not the fsu game. Can't believe I'm in the minority and that the program is actually doing that garbage in this classic matchup. But hey it's not my call, so as long as we play well and beat those losers I'll be happy. But still, we're not even gonna look like Miami. The gators wear orange helmets...

Does Alabama wear chrome or matte or smoke or whatever? They 'croot pretty **** well. Even fsu doesn't do it, and if they do they'll do it in a random game. Not in a classic rivalry matchup. I get that kids love this stuff. Ok, so wear it on a Thursday night in Blacksburg. Wear it against UNC at home. Don't wear it against FSU at home in the biggest game since forever. Besides the U on the helmet, absolutely nothing else on the uniform looks Miami.

If your going to compare us to Saban & ALabama then I have nothing to say to you and we can end this convo now.... Think Bama with David Shula thats where we are at...and FSU changed their jerseys also but they got changed back..... I understand what your saying butwe have been a mediocre team fotr the last 10 years time to try something different
 
Aren't we going smoke everything ? I remember one of the writers saying the players wanted to save the smoke helmets for another date and this would obviously be the date.
