While ND is obviously a very solid team, I'm not sure they're the juggernaut the media is making them out to be. As many on this board have pointed out, they're a very one dimensional team and delving into their stats this season further solidifies that fact.

Their rushing offense is 5th in the country with 325 yards per game, which we already knew was their strong suit, and for comparisons sake, Georgia Tech is 3rd in the country with 332 yards per game and we held them to 226 yards. Over 100 yards shy of their average. Furthermore, GT is 3rd in the country in time of possession, which puts much more pressure on the opposing offense to score because they're going to have limited possessions. ND is 78th in time of possession.

Notre Dame's passing offense is 108th in the country with 170 yards per game. For comparisons sake, Florida's passing offense is ranked higher at 104th in the country with 177 yards per game. Yes, Florida has a better passing offense than 3rd ranked Notre Dame. Also, Virginia Tech has the 42nd best passing offense in the country with 259 yards a game and we held them to 197 yards last night, well under their average.

It's pretty obvious if we contain their run, which we have shown to be very capable of last night, then I can't envision Wimbush beating us with his arm, especially the way Jackson, Young, Bandy, Redwine, etc. have been playing of late. If our offense comes out and looks as dynamic as they did last night and or defense stops the run, this game could be reminiscent of last night!

The recipe for victory is simple: repeat last night's performance. Make ND play from behind and off their game. That is a crazy stat to see that the Gaytors have a better passing offense than ND. Time to stack the box and trust our secondary, which is playing phenomenal.

When they face really good defense they don't score much. They only scored 19 against UG. Regarding their defense, WF scored 37 points on them, on their home turf yesterday. I think we can match that if not score more. With the momentum we have at home, if we play with the same intensity as yesterday we will win.

They've dominated everybody they've played except Georgia and their SOS is strong.

Comparing their run game to GT is foolish.

Nothing alike.

This is a game that I really want Diaz to get away from his cute ****. Don't stunt or slant as much, cause missed tackles or assignments here will lead to 6 for them. This isn't GT in anyway shape or form. We can beat these guys, their defense looks suspect but we are gonna need a dominant effort from the defense, which I know we can get, I'm just worried about the breakdowns we have had in the run game.

Our d is too strong for them. Will be a similar beatdown to last night. Our secondary is reaching the elite status that our d line is. Leave those guys on an island and let the front 7 stop the run.

Man **** stats. Whole week last week I was looking at stats vs VT and we start dominated them. Plus this is a big game so throw stats out the window. We need to make that QB beat us not the OL, DL, or RB like we did last year. We need to make the QB pay for being a QB playing against Miami. We also need to match their physicality in the trenches. I feel better with McDermott because he has been really good at tackle. Also Linder is gone and he murder a lot of our plays last year and you replace him with Gauthier and he has been solid-good all year imo. Not to mention, like the VT game from last year ND killed a lot of our plays with sacks. VT last night only got 2 sacks as oppose to the 8 sacks they got from Statue Kaaya. ND had 5 sacks last year hopefully Rosier ability to escape will cut that to 1 or 2. If our team plays with the type of physically they know they have to play to beat ND we will probably win.

I watched a small bit of the ND-Wake film. Bro.. Wake Forest ran the SAME EXACT OFFENSE we ran last night. QB Draws and all.

ND runs the **** out of the ball, but they threw for almost 300 yards yesterday and had 700 yards of total offense. I'm not sure we can call them one dimensional. They're just very successful running the football and that skews the numbers.
