We played almost half the same schedule and we outperformed them in 2 of 3 (the two best teams) and beat them head to head. WHAT ARE WE DOING????

We need Bama to lose. The Committee has already made it clear they don’t value the ACC this yr. They’re using a plethora of invalid excuses to rank ND ahead of us. If we’re ranked 12th come Tuesday & ND is ranked 9th, that’s all we’ll need to know.

We also need UVA to lose b/c SMU holds the tiebreaker over us for the ACCCG.

This committee has given up on us after SMU & it became unlikely we would be playing in a devalued championship game being the best team in the conference.

Except that it wasn’t valid. That BC game where ND led 12-10 at the end of the 3Q happened in November. All the people talking about how great Notre Dame has looked late season have just forgotten about that one.

People see what they want and ignore what they don't. It's a shame that we had that mid season lull.

That initial 18 ranking they expected us to drop another like Miami always does. Now that we haven’t their only course of action is to stay the course and keep us out. Otherwise it makes them look even worse if they go back on what they already said.

I do agree with the poster that says OU should be dropped. If Bama beats A&M in the $EC Championship game they just might be. That ESPN Graphic that says “OU makes playoffs for the first time under Venerables,” will end up looking hilarious in hindsight if a bad win knocks them out.
