According to the University of Notre Dame, all summer camps are cancelled due to the pandemic that has hit the world. That means every single major recruiting and evaluation event expected at Notre Dame this summer is cancelled including Sunday Night Football at the end of May, the Notre Dame Fantasy Camp during the first week of June, the Irish Invasion in early June, the Quarterback Academy in early June, the Fighting Irish Youth Camp in mid June, the 7-on-7 Passing Camp in mid June and the Lineman's Challenge in mid June.

I wonder if Paradise is next... It was said on TOS that staff had been planning visits for the end of June.

I would imagine others will be following too.

Definitely don't think there will be a Paradise Camp this year.

The liability is just too great. Maybe things will be settled down a lot more by July, but it's still highly unlikely we have any kinda camps this summer.

This whole thing is overblown....it is time to get back to our daily lives.....nice Socialism test run for the Globalists

Hmmm... we know that when politics gets brought up on the COVID forum, it results in a ban from that forum.
But what happens when it gets brought up in the recruiting forum (other than likes from a mod)?

Legitimately curious.

Overkill, overkill, overkill

My god. I swear some of these schools just wanna be viewed as "leaders"

Am I saying things should be normal 100% full speed? Nah...But that's goofy, I hope UM doesn't go that extreme.

Maybe not right this moment, maybe not 100%...But very soon we gotta start opening up. Common sense.

Agreed. Even assuming the economy is opened up much more by then (I think it will be), I can't imagine having recruits, families, and guest coaches all travel down. Plus, things like 7 v 7 drills and a dinner or cook-out are likely out of the question.

This should help Miami(and FSU/UF) in keeping guys instate. I would go long Florida college football.

There is no common sense to this. How can anyone say there is? That makes no sense given we’re still learning about the dynamics of the virus and even trying to reduce hospitalization rates (not just a vaccine). I understand about the economy but if people can get reinfected (some evidence suggests you can) then it’s a big problem.

it’s been mentioned before but yes, I would argue this should help our local recruiting out a lot.

The same Notre Dame that is the bastion of debauchery that allowed priests to destroy more young boys' lower digestive tracts than colitis and the same ND that sent a poor kid called Declan Sullivan up to the top of a tower during a cyclone to film a stupid practice only to shortly thereafter plummet to a horrifying death.

Nothing. That's the way this place works...
