Whatever it is it needs to be concrete criteria for who gets in. This ranking and committee bulls**** needs to end.

This right here. Can we get a set criteria of how you evaluate teams and then have them stick to it? It has changed week to week and sometimes seems to change from team to team within the same week to fit their narrative. Also, get rid of the stupid pod grouping argument. Just rank all teams against each other. It doesn't have to be so hard. It is comically funny watching the top guy have to squirm through the interview afterwards twisting himself like a pretzels.

What I think is concerning is that almost everyone on the CFP Board of Directors would like to see a 16 team playoff, but the reason this hasn't happened according to that interview is ESPN hasn't agreed. Does nobody in charge see that letting a media company have so much influence on your league is extremely detrimental. Almost every decision they will make will be based off of what is good for their bottom line. The league should structure their system the way they see fit then go to ESPN and figure out the media rights, not the other way around. The initial contract with ESPN should have stated that the format could be changed depending on what the Board decides and votes into policy.

I actually disagree--I think they should go to 16 with auto bids (including one G5). If it was 16, we wouldn't be in this position, and teams like Vandy, Texas, BYU, and Utah would also get a shot.

Now some of you guys see what we are up against. The Fix is in. People in power, network bias/ money talks and bull**** walks. I give Mario and the team credit for the stretch run and Mario for politiking/lobbying/making a (strong) case for our Canes.
