I was against a cancelation at first...

But now, 1,000%, we shouldn't give them the satisfaction of having us come to South Bend to play them.

They can go fuxk themselves altogether.
I want to put the stake in their hearts ourselves, I want to get called unintelligent thugs in their house dancing whilst up 24

What a crying ahh clown.

No other school in the country has it as good as ND does. Seriously.

You think he'd seriously attach ND to the same kind of deal with the Big 10, SEC, or Big 12?

Then they wouldn't be able to beat up on the Boston College' and Syracuse's and Stanford's of the world.

Hope the ACC Network plays another 24 hours of the UM-Notre Dame game to show how unbothered they are.

Sometimes you just gotta let the girls cry in the car. They'll get over it.

The ACC already is dead.

Even Notre Dame announcing it was joining wouldn't save the conference as we know it.

Still way more dollars to made in the SEC (or B1G) then this cluster we're stuck in

Notre Dame has no leverage here. The ACC is enabling Notre Dame to remain an independent in football. If Notre Dame walked away from the ACC they would be unable schedule any Power 4 games in October and November.

If anything, the ACC has Notre Dame over a barrel in regards to remaining an independent.

In Business, don't start fights that you can't win.

End that stupid scheduling agreement and they’ll be playing G5’s and usc ever year. Most entitled idiots I’ve ever seen

Jim Phillips cared more about ingratiating himself with Notre Dame than the long-term interests of the conference that provides his fat paycheck

What exactly did the conference do that hurt his feelings? The ACC Network replayed the game repeatedly, but that's not the conference. They even went out of their way to schedule a patsy for UVA to claim one of those bottom two spots as a conference champ.

Be mad at the CFP for putting a 3 loss Bama in.
The biggest issue with the ACC is the incompetent leadership that somehow managed to exclude their best team from the CCG in favor of a ****** five loss Duke. That cost ND a spot, which I’m sure everyone here is furious about. But it nearly cost Miami a playoff spot too - if Virgina beats Duke I think it's less likely the committee flips ND/Miami. Who the **** really knows, though. I’m pretty confident it screwed Miami out of hosting a playoff game, which would have increased your odds of making a run.

ND needs the ACC as much as the ACC needs ND in the current state. The ACC agreement fills their schedule. Without that agreement, ND will have a hard time filling their season with P4 teams. It will be a bunch of G5 and USC plus one more if they backed out of it and went totally independent.
Depends on how you look at it. It will cost the ACC a lot of money. It will make it more difficult on ND to schedule and may cost them their independence, but it wouldn't cost them money.

Not our fault. Not the ACC's fault. They are going to give priority to a team thats in full standing in the conference, rather than your part-time asses.

I will agree (albeit throwing up in my mouth at the thought of defending ND), that they have a legitimate ***** that Alabama gets to be in, even though they got their clock cleaned by Georgia and got beat by FSU.

But their ***** shouldn't be with us, or the ACC. YOU guys chose to remain independent. YOU guys chose to be a part-time conference team. YOU guys got beat by us and didn't handle your business. You know the more I think about it; the concept of "Notre Dame gets an autobid in the playoffs if they have 2 losses" might be legally questionable. No other team (other than Alabama under the table apparently), has that kind of deal the CFP. What's going to happen if they lose to two cupcakes, and 1-2 loss teams that had quality schedules get shut out of the playoffs because ND is guaranteed a spot? That smells like a lawsuit to me.

This bum AD just big mad that DanRad a more effective AD and all DanRad do is work on his newsletter in Google Docs while sitting in his Jacuzzi. Sad

We didn't keep them out.... they are independent. They should have thrown their resources at ousting Bama or JMU
