I’ve heard the same thing all day , tweaked bad ankle , they’d run tests and evaluate. Saturday was up in the air. Anything more than that is bs imo.
As a fan, I am not really sure what the value getting the exact details immediately is. If it is serious, we will find out eventually. If it isn't, we will find that out sooner. Whether I know the deal now, Saturday or two weeks from now doesn't make a big difference.

well all know for sure in like 2 days. id rather not have this out there now and just go about my week, but narcissists need clicks

Toney is obviously a massive piece as the ND defense is pretty bad on 3rd down conversions and Toney can get those like clockwork.

But even with Toney, I think the gameplan should be to go heavy on the run game, control TOP, and limit possessions to keep our defense off the field. I am getting "stubborn coordinator" vibes from Hetherman where he thinks the problem is player execution and he doesn't have to outwit an opposing coordinator because he has better players. Same thing that happened with Dawson last season until we were in complete desperation mode after two losses (and to his credit, he did a remarkable job adapting after that). We CAN win a shootout, but their offense is decent enough and I am concerned their defense can get more stops than ours if we are trading lots of possessions.
