Geo has been going around sharing it with everyone behind close doors. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mario shut him out completely after this

However, Geo’s tweet came before Miamis statement. Could be some truth to his. Idk how reliable he is but he was saying that before things got scrubbed and official statement came out. He might be right. Hes saying not a sprain just seeing if he can play thru it which seems like a micro-fracture

I think the statement is because Mario is so tight lipped about everything (especially injuries). I absolutely get why with the way the "media" and whatever else you want to call them that follows this program. Someone leaked the injury when they weren't supposed to but the staff is getting tons of calls and texts about it now. So they released a statement that says nothing lol

We still have the best player on the field. 8 and 12s time to shine. Obviously Mali is literally a generational player for us but reminds me of Canes/FSU 99 when Warrick got suspended for dillards and didn’t play. We all realized after that game that the essential piece was Weinke. Disclaimer: this may be me reaching for a positive outlook with this awful news.
