Notre Dame a 3.5 point favorite (All Miami-ND, Mali News)

Thank god the media reported on this so I don’t have to listen to folks yell at people on a message board for talking about their star players injuries

Move to the nfl model like we just saw Pete thamel and Barry Jackson do. Star player is injured it should be reported like it would be in the NFL. Enough with the competitive edge nonsense in 2026
Completely agree. It's absurd how these college programs treat injuries like nuclear secrets

Sit him if it's serious. We have the talent to compete and beat this team. And if we don't, there's no way we get punished THAT much for losing without a Heisman front-runner. Also we have the auto in if we just take care of business in the ACC. Maybe let him try it out if it's borderline, but this is not an injury to play with. His game is getting in and out of breaks

They could have released the info later, some numbskulls decided it was worth it to leak incomplete info

Toney was limping after the first punt return against Pitt. He was spatted up in that game and against UNC. Never had before. Certainly not the week before against FSU. This has been going on for weeks now. I would GUESS he re-aggravated the same injury he's been dealing with. And unlike a game you stop practicing instead of fighting through it. Which causes the rumor mill to get going.

Toney got hurt against Stanford (mostly upper body) and was hurt again against Wake (mostly lower body). This is nothing new.

Doesn’t sound that serious from what D$ and Barry are saying tbh

Not season ending serious- but potentially 2-6 weeks serious. I think they will sit him down, and try to win without him. If they lose, they’ll hope he heals good enough to contribute in the ACCCG, which is essentially a CFP “play-in” game. But i would be concerned with our ability to beat Duke and VaTech without this element in our offense.

Odd time to not play if he was injured for weeks. Lose to Notre Dame then losing the ACC championship would knock then out of playoffs

Hopefully he is able to give it a go if for anything keeping their #1 corner on him if we are gonna have to look for the other WRs to up their catches.

Are we watching the same video? Hasn't said anything close to this. He's trying to calm everyone down and get us ready for the game. This team is going to be ready to go, and they are finally ready to show the world what they can do

My comment was 10 minutes ago. At the beginning of the podcast, D$ was indeed acting like Mali wasn't going to play. Talking about other players stepping up like Spafford, Lofton, and Pringle. He mentioned that we still have Mensah the best QB in the country.

But I kept listening and I've updated my posts here (you haven't read them) that D$ has changed his tune and said Mali is working through the injury and will give it a go.
