Notre Dame a 3.5 point favorite (All Miami-ND, Mali News)

The North Carolina Tar Heels fought hard but dropped a tough one to the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 37-26.
CJ Carr had a very good game, finishing with 234 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air and 1 on the ground on 21-29 passing while Jonaz Walton ran for 120 yards on 23 carries.

Billy Edwards Jr. showed flashes and threw for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss. Jordan Shipp caught 7 passes for a career-high 109 yards, and Jelani Thurman caught 2 touchdown passes for Bill Belichick's squad.

Jordan Faison racked up 109 yards on 6 catches with 2 touchdowns in the first half and finished with 8 catches for 132 yards with the 2 scores for Marcus Freeman's club.
 
This is the third week in a row the line has moved sharply against us: F$U, Pitt, and now UNC. I don’t expect that to change barring a total beatdown of UNC.

In other words, don’t bet the look ahead line if you want to bet Miami vs Notre Dame. Patience.

Mensah can make a difference with his legs....if he'll do it. Agree he is going to get a lot of pressure. Slide up in the pocket and take off for 10 yards.....slide

I watched this game. It was not as close as the final score might indicate. For a moment it looked like ND was going to win by 40 but they got greedy and went for it on 4th down deep in UNC territory at least once or twice but didn’t get it. It made the halftime score much more manageable for UNC to climb back in the game, which they did by taking the 2nd half KR for a TD.

Shannon has to remember what it was like to call plays at Southern Miss to win this year. Act like our OL i average and they will exceed expectations, do anything else....

Lucky this gameday wasn’t on Halloween or we would’ve seen their fans dressed as pointy hat ghosts calling all our players criminals and unintelligent thugs.
