Notre Dame a 3.5 point favorite (All Miami-ND, Mali News)

I would take ND and lay the points.

The better bet, however, regardless of what happens on Saturday with the fighting pedophiles ... will be when (IF) we play Wake in the ACC Championship game. UM will be favored. Take Wake and the points, whatever they are. Wake is a complete team, much more so than Miami .... although our offense is certainly better.

But I would go with the complete team (Wake) over UM, which is, frankly, a one trick pony.
Show us your ticket with notre dame on it. Anything else is irrelevant
I have Miami ML and will hammer the over.

That was the best game Billy Edwards may ever play

I've seen lots of posts and podcasts comparing ND's offense to Miami's offense and ND's defense to Miami defense. However, what they SHOULD be doing is comparing ND's offense to Miami's defense, and ND's defense to Miami's offense. That's where the game will be won. Will ND be able to stop Miami's high powered offense, and will Miami's defense stop ND's offensive attack. Not to mention who has the special teams edge.

Correct. It’s irreverent how good ND D may be if that D isn’t as good as the Miami O. You saw that with prime Mahomes / Hill team in SB. Yes San Fran had elite D, but irrelevant if the O is simply better. One of my favorite phenomena’s, and hard for people to see coming since D does in fact win championships….most of the time…perhaps not Saturday night. The fact people aren’t thinking like this should comfort you, since people are usually wrong.

Yeah, its not good. DT was a strength. The box could shut down the run game and allow the secondary to clamp up teams, but we are missing key guys at every level now. It was definitely felt vs. BYU and will unquestionably be felt vs. the best offense in the country.

Honestly, just hoping we can turn it into a shootout. I honestly don't think we have the weapons to do that.

Spread your poison somewhere else!

Up to 6 or 6.5 depending on the book. Let’s see if it the buybacks start coming or if nobody believes we have a shot to win.

Not going to lie- our defense being cheeks and looking like the 2024 defense for 2 of the last 3 games is not making me optimistic about the outcome on Saturday. Fortunately we should still be able to get through the ACC unscathed and hopefully Hetherman figures out how to get a little more production out of what we have on the roster as we get ready for the ACC championship and the playoffs.

Last week has a lot to do with it. If our secondary doesn’t look like trash and validate all the concerns, it never gets above 6. But overall you can take this line with a grain of salt. There’s a ton baked in here. Home field, the spot, this is ND’s season, this only matters to Miami if we don’t win 3 of 4 against teams we’ll be favored by 13-24 against.

Neutral field in the playoffs, this hovers around 3.

So far all I am hearing and reading about is Miami this, Miami that. Miami looked vulnerable. Miami survived another scare.
Blah, blah, blah.

Nothing at all about ND is going to stop Fletcher or ND is going to slow down Malachi or ND is able to stop Mallory or get physical and neutralize our OL or TEs.

That is the reason why we probably win this game outright let alone keep it within the point spread. There’s no real football reasons to believe they can stop us from doing what we want.
