I still feel cheated that I didn't get to see Nate and Dan Morgan play side by side their senior years.
It may have been the best single season duo at LB the nation had ever seen.

WHEN I SAW PERRYMAN'S High school film I immediately thought he looked like my boy Jon Beason. Both played a little both ways, and had crazy sideline to sideline ability.

But after his college years...dude is eerily similar to Nasty Nate Webster...Nate when he hit you your legs just went limp and you instantly stop moving....Perryman literally if he has you squared up..its night night. Have to think nfl scouts are drooling over that....literally every game he lights a **** up....The espn crew were literally drooling over him...

Kid has a highlight film full of body bags...I mean just off Gus Edwards practice hits alone he should have a 3rd round grade....I think he is solely responsible for Gus having a solid season, dude couldn't wait to run against opposing defenses.

I knew o boy was a killah with his high skoo film, dudes were running away from his ***. Kids can just hit u can't teach it, u can't teach speed and dat kind of hitting. Imagine al golden didn't want him lol.
 
Perryman IMO is the strongest middle linebacker we have ever had and one of the surest tacklers. Morgan was a better overall player and we had numerous smaller but very athletic linebackers.Vilma was a mauler but I have some hits that Perryman has made that are jaw dropping. He will be a fine linebacker in the pros.

While I have great respect for DP, I look at it like this- Imagine him behind Warren Sapp in the early 90's. What would have he done behind that defensive line? Then I ask myself, would he have done better than Ray Lewis? I can't answer yes to that question. I think he would have done a lot better than he is able to do now having to constantly deal with unblocked offensive linemen but he doesn't crack the top 5 Miami linebackers list even then imo. And that's no slight on DP, that's just saying the competition for those accolades is immense.

All that being said, we're ****ed next year without him.
