Not sure we really need anyone major portal help this offseason...

I'd like a starting tackle or 2 because:

I'm not sold on Zion
I think Scaife is a guard that can play tackle and this allows him to move inside
It gives us the option of redshirting Rivers and possibly Clark or Zion that they never got.

But this is more of a want than need situation.

Only at oline if there's a top talent available. Otherwise let the young guys develop.
 
Dan I don’t really disagree with you but don’t think it happens. I think we’re gonna roll with the 7-8 we have at oline. Certainly being far under the 85 take anyone who can provide competition and possibly start.
 
We have to have a kicker. Period.

We could use some starting tackles that allow Nelson to redshirt.

There were a lot of teams that hit the portal for OL's last year & most of,them were very good contributors from P5 schools to other P5 schools.

Our problem is we took a bad OT from a FCS school that was 22nd in sacks allowed for the 2018 season & Kennedy was one of the main ones that gave up sacks for Butler.

We can still find a good OT in the Portal, just don't take one from a FCS school lol.

I don’t think we need a lb with flowe EE, McCloud, Brooks and huff. Throw in Joyner steed Jennings and the striker position.

a **** servisable kicker... who can hit the 40s and some 50s..
OL tackles ..all descent ones we can get

Really more concerned about some of our better players entering the Portal. Some of these kids who are serious about winning must want to get out of here and away from these joke coaches and the laziness of many of their teammates .
