Not so fast my friend, we still need help

This is on the mark. Not getting into ACC title game, so we need to jump three spots & get to 10th if want to be in playoffs.
There is no reason for some of those teams to be ahead of us right now. We shouldn't need them to lose. It's all BS.

What I'm saying is... we don't need to be in th ACC title game. I figured as long as we finish at least #8 in the final rankings, we'll be in. ESPN says we need to be #10.

More teams ranked ahead of us will lose in the next two weeks. And also the losers of the conference games(whoever are ranked ahead of us) will fall behind us as well( as long as we win our next 2).

So if the top 4 spots goes to the conference champs. And then the other spot goes to the highest ranked outside the P4. That leaves 7 spots left right?

Btw I have done absolutely ZERO research on this lol. I just saw the rankings quickly and came up with my own conclusion within 5mins. Take it easy on me.
Prob is
They won’t penalize teams for losing in the conference championship games
Unless maybe it’s a total wipe out by 40 points

Okay.... so it's that time of year again when I ask y'all to bet me but y'all be too scared... which in turn, saves me money so thank you guys.

Anyway, who wants to bet $25-$50 that if we win our next two games, we're in????

Have you not been paying attention to any national media at all the last week or two? Miami being ranked behind Notre Dame despite beating them head to head might be the biggest topic in college football right now.
Ok so they take heat for five minutes on live show like the basketball guys do
ESPN asks two questions
Then they move on to the bracket
And it’s all forgotten

That’s the way it works in reality

I thought they talked about that last year(or one of those years we were in the running late) and didn't some ppl in our fan base say that it would be better if we don't make the ACC conference game because if we did and lost, we would be out?

It's been mentioned multiple times, but the best way we can help ourselves is by beating VT and Pitt.

They're bizarrely being chalked up as wins. It's like nobody has watched Miami play these last 20 years.

Win those two and let the chips fall where they may.
Exactly
W our MO
We sneak by VT 27-20
Then with all eyes on us
It’s cold at Pitt
Players are huddled around heaters and wearing gear as if they are climbing Mt Everest
And Narduzzi coaches his *** off - only against us….and we get throttled 27-10

That is far more likely than Miami winning 55-10 at VT and 40-7 at Pitt which is what it will take to get anyone’s attention

I think that's an incomplete bet, because it depends on who, if anyone, loses.

We can go 2-0 and get in, if teams lose. Or we could go 2-0 and not get in, if teams don't.

Let's do it this way:

Miami does go 2-0, and I'll even say wins both games convincingly. VT by 21, and Pitt by double-digits.

Who is Miami jumping to get to #10? That's where we have to get to.

Oregon is 7
OU is 8
ND is 9
Bama is 10

Miami goes 2-0, but all 4 of those teams do as well. Who is Miami pushing out to get into the top 10?

I think people are seriously underestimating us getting in at 10-2. The committee is putting off a head to head because they’re praying one of us lossses. CFB media already pivoting in our favor and calling out the farce of putting ND ahead. Also 10-2 Utah or 10-2 BYU are not getting in over us.
If byu wins out they are 11-1 and headed to B12 championship

My understanding is that you can’t penalize a team for making it and playing a 13th game

There are exceptions but that’s what i thought i heard

But if no one loses ahead of them, then they sit at 11 and are not in the playoffs. Losing to Texas Tech in the conference championship would drop them in the rankings because they wouldn’t be getting punished since they are already out. That puts Miami within reach of the ND comparison.

BYU’s loss also devalues Utah’s ranking (and BYU has the H2H) and SMU or UL will be ranked by the end of the year so we could jump Utah.

Edit: This scenario leaves the committee with two spots for Utah, Alabama, ND, and Miami. Alabama won’t drop for losing in the SECCG so that leaves the other three. I truly believe they honor the H2H at the end of the day, and I think Miami-ND-Utah is more likely than Utah-Miami-ND.

Why would the committee care if the public thinks they are a clown show? You are assuming the members are capable of feeling shame.

These lizards have not felt anything in their lives.

Sadly accurate.

They give zero fux as demonstrated last year.

The process was never supposed to be fair. It was supposed to favor the SEC and Big 10.

Only way they'll feel the heat is if some sort of politician starts publicly commenting specifically about it. Maybe somebody at UM need to use a political connect to get Desantis or somebody to start tweeting about it. :ROFLMAO:

But again, this is all a moot point if we don't win the next 2 games.

IMO, there should be at least two ACC teams in. The champ and the next best. If Miami wins out, regardless of if includes the ACCCG, they should be in. A 10-2 Miami team that flirted with the top 5, has two close losses on paper, and has quality win should be in. It's stupid that this is even a question

However, the elephant that no one is talking about, is the obvious bias towards SEC and B10 schools. The landscape has switched in recent years with efforts to make the B10 as the companion powerhouse to the SEC.

The 12 team playoff is just an underlying effort to shill this, force viewership and revenue towards those two conferences, and water down the rest of the P4. The B12 has become an afterthought and the ACC is quickly next, hence ONLY the projected champ gets in.
