Not kicking the FG down 11

Al didn't rise to the occasion. He followed his pregame speech perfectly as did the rest of the team.

I didn't mind going for it on 4th in that spot. Who knows if we would have gotten any closer on the next drive. Some of the other play calls however were atrocious, starting with the opening drive -- running the ball on 3rd and 20 when you are already if FG range? Who does that? and don't get me started with punting inside the 40 in the 4th when we are trailing.

The kickers told Al it was windy, and he trusts his players . The kickers also told him that " kicking a fg was useless since 8 points is still two possessions ". Al agreed , and went for it .

Kicking was the only option, you cut it to a 1 score game on 4th down, you have zero chance if you don't make it, no other coach would have went for it
