he had one good season at houston with someone else's talent, then went 9-3 before getting poached by texas and going 7-6. now he's 0-1 and that loss is to a team that has a head coach on paid leave for killing a kid. how exactly is herman an elite coach?

Saban was in the Sugar Bowl by year 2 taking over for Mike Shula. With the money UT is throwing at Herman, he's not going to get all the time in the world.

just saying in the sugar bowl is underselling that year for bama too. they were a win away from the national championship game but lost to peak tebow in the sec championship.
