Holsum doesn’t know shiot. He’s a grad assistant dline coach up at North Dakota St. He’s getting fed info from the Alonzo on YouTube as well. Both of them know about as much as all of us and trying to stir up interest for his ytube channel.

If Diaz was fired, it would cost the school $16M-$22M before even paying a new head coach. $4M paid to Temple + $12M Diaz Buyout + New Coach Buyout ($6M Cristobal). Diaz is going to be here at least 3 years. Blake James played himself. You don't pay a HC who's never been an HC $3M/year and you **** sure don't give them a 5-year contract!!!! That's just crazy. You give him a 3-year contract with an option for the school to extend.

A question for those who know..............Do you know a HC of a major program who was fired during or after his first year? I remember someone was fired (from ND?) very early after the contract but that was because he misrepresented his credentials or lied in his resume. But not for poor performance.
Edit: George O'Leary resigned from ND after 5 days......wasn't fired.
 


But wouldn't Highsmith have to say this when there is no opening and he wants to keep his current job UNTIL the AD job is open? Wouldn't be a lie to say I respect Black James and love my job but 6 months later accept the job when it actually is available.
