Not enough good coaches on the market this year

My only concern around firing Golden is leaving it up to the bozos in the UM admin to make the right hire

You know that every Coordinator is technically in the market right.
5 people that are in the market are: Lane Kiffin, Cristobal, Chud, Schiano, and of course Butch.
Oh what do you know, those happen to be our top future coaching prospects.

I thought that UM raised its requirements. You mentioned 3 retatarded choices in one post (Schiano, Kiffin and Cristobal). Cristobal is not a coordinator either.

3 retarded choices? It is a fact, not my opinion, that Kiffin and Cristobal are the top 2 choices of the AD right now.
How is Kiffin not a good fit? How is Cristobal not a good fit? A retarded choice would be saying Muschamp, not someone that is actually in the dam running. And if coordinators are on the market, logically it follows that position coaches are too.
You are the one saying stupid things, not me.

How do you know it is a fact? You never spoke to our AD and you have no sources. Please let us know. Also, our AD has no power. You do know this right? He is a retarded puppet that collects money from the school.

Kiffin, Cristobal and Schiano are all trash with no success. None are a good fit because none have had ANY success being a HC. Just like Muschamp would suck, all three of those retards would also suck. Here is the crazy thing, out of those four (Kiffin, Cristobal, Schiano and Muschamp), Muschamp is the only one to lead a team to a BCS game.

Besides retarded posters and journalists, no one is considering Kiffin, Cristobal or Schiano. But please tell me why these three would be a good fit, tell me about all their success.

We aren't only limited to guys with Miami connections. I want Butch, and have softened on my stance when it comes to Schiano, but put them aside. I'll remove guys like Patterson and Dantonio, but we could go after

Rich Rod
Todd Graham
Mark Hudspeth
Scott Frost
Pat Narduzzi
Tom Herman
Rhett Lashlee
Jeremy Pruitt
Kirby Smart

We know for a 100% fact that Golden has failed here and will never work. Even if you think some of these guys have a small chance of success here, it's still a better chance than Golden has. It's time to pull the plug.

There are a lot of talented young coordinators out there should established coaches say no. Miami has always been the stepping stone job.

Completely doubt we'd be able to get Kirby Smart. Narduzzi IMO is probably the best option other than Chud. Obviously Kiffin would be a recruiting monster here, but I still don't like him from when he coached the Raiders, whether that's warranted or not. And to the guy saying we are just hanging on to Chud being OC in 2001, he has done MUCH more than that. He was a player here, a coach here, worked his way to being a HC in the NFL, and has only been out for a year. What exactly is bad about his resume?
Butch obviously is least likely to happen, due to the UNC mess, even though he has been completely cleared. Although I think it's much more likely he'd come here as a DC under Chud, than as a HC. Scott Frost would be interesting.

Chud has not coached college Football in a hundred years!

He was a coach here for 9 years until 2003, which was 11 years ago. Do you think he just forgot how to recruit?
I wonder were you saying the same thing when it was rumored we were going after Gruden? Would you be saying the same thing if it was Jim Harbaugh?
At this school you don't have to be that good at recruiting anyways. Do you honestly think Golden is that good of a recruiter? Plus he could surround himself with good coaches who can also recruit.
The top guys IMO are Chud, Narduzzi, and Kiffin. (I really dislike Kiffin, but I know we would dominate at recruiting, and I think if he brings a good DC, we would dominate on the field too. I also think it's more likely Butch would come as a DC to Chud than get hire as a HC...

Chud coached at UM in the early 2000's, that is definitely less than 100 years ago.

By AD, I meant athletic deparment as a whole, not Blake James. And this is a combo of what has been going around, and what I have personally heard from someone that works inside the department (that Kiffin is at/neat the top).
No success? Shiano made it to HC in NFL, Much harder than becoming a HC in college, and much harder to be successful. Kiffin I don't really like, but he is young, and if you don't believe his resume is being extremely boosted by being Bama's OC, you are delusional. Ditto for Cristobal. I don't want Cristobal at all, and I didn't say that I did. Kiffin Is having success right now. Like I said, I think Kiffin will only be successful as a HC if he brings in a good DC with him

I've already said this, but I think you're not comprehending. Those guys were not my personal top choices. My personal top choices are Chud and Narduzzi.

Butch
Chud
Schiano
Those are 3 available RIGHT NOW then look at who you could poach with the right mindset and money

Harrbaugh, Rich Rod, Ron Rivera(going to be available do not want but will be), and corridantors at every college are available

I guess the problem the BOT and Donna have with those three is that each one is connected with recruiting, coaching and or playing on the greatest colleges football teams of all time. Plus, all three have been to the top of the profession, NFL HC. And all three have ties with the University of Miami. That combination tends to guarantee that any ONE of them would probably lead us to a NC in a couple years or less. There is the problem. If the last 12 years have made one to clear it is that winning another NC is NOT acceptable!!!!!!

You still have no source for the atheltic department wanted those guys.

Schiano, failed in the NFL and has never won the big east. He blows.

Kiffin has had no success either. He sucked in the NFL, Tenn and with USC. Sure he is young but who cares? He sucks as an HC. There is no evidence he will have success either because he has NEVER had much success as an HC. There is a reason no one WAS calling his name after he was fired from USC. He had to take an OC gig, he will have to be there for awhile before he gets another chance.

Cristobal has never been a coordinator and has had ZERO success. He has had less success than Kiffin and Schiano. He is terrible.

The answer here is so ******* obvious, but leave it to morons in the ivory towers to be blind to it.

Nobody gives a *** if Schiano wants to be here because he SUCKS.

I said where I got my info. I said I know someone inside the athletic deparment, and he happened to tell me this in a casual conversation. You can choose to not believe me, but that's where I got it. And it happens to fall in line with what some others are also hearing.
You do understand Not succeeding in the NFL doesn't matter. what matters is that he was good enough to get a NFL HC job. Golden would have nowhere near the resume to get that. If you think just anyone can become a NFL HC you are just plain wrong. Lane Kiffin, is proving what he can do right now at Alabama. I can't even believe I'm defending Lane Kiffin, I don't even like him (I'm a Raider fan). But You are a fool if you don't think that this year/next year he won't be one of the more saught after coaches, Whether he actually leaves or stays (like Kirby Smart). Kiffin is one of the best recruiters there is though. If he was hired right now, I would guarantee that we would have the #1 or #2 recruiting class in 2016. And again, I don't want Cristobal, but that doesn't matter to the BOT or AD does it?

Kiffin would be a huge gamble.

What major football team has he ever coached to success? Does anyone remember his departure from Tennessee?

FFS

Tell Pinkel you'll give him whatever he wants. That's how great coaches suddenly become available.
