Butch will put together a NC caliber coaching staff as well.
2000 defensive coaching staff as I recall
DC-- Greg Schiano Coached Rutgers and Bucs
DB-- Chuck Pagano Colts HC
DL-- Clint Hurtt With the bears now, DL tore us apart in the bowl game last season.
And Butch himself the most important piece to the puzzle. He has the it factor and recognizes the talent man. Get him, and the U is back.

McElwain would be an upgrade from Golden
 
Mentioning a name other than Butch Davis for head coach is beginning to irk me as much as saying that Al Golden is still our coach.
 
Speaking of coaches with baggage, Bobby Petrino has Louisville in position for an Orange Bowl berth in year one.

Butch was cleared of wrong-doing in the UNC mess.

If people in the administration hold a grudge for how he left in 2001, get over it. It was the ******* NFL.

You have been consistently, subtly, trying to provide reasons to keep golden and scold the fan base. Now if i tell another person to kill themself, I'm gonna get banned, so I want. But you should know I would have loved to.

Butch, Greg, Chud -- NFL HCs -- gee nope, no good coaches out there at all. Just because UF and NU made stupid choices doesn't mean we have to.
 
Butch brings instant credibility, can recruit and develop like a boss, knows What Miami football is about and will put us in prime position to make a championship run. ACC titles will are things we as fans will not hope for because it will become standard if he is here. Better business move to get fans to fill up Sunlife to boot. What the F*** is the BOT waiting for. This move would be a grand slam

You know that every Coordinator is technically in the market right.
5 people that are in the market are: Lane Kiffin, Cristobal, Chud, Schiano, and of course Butch.
Oh what do you know, those happen to be our top future coaching prospects.

Pinkel is getting paid over 3M and is playing in his second straight SEC title game. He isn't going anywhere. He's also 60 something and been at Mizzou around 10 years. He will retire there.
