Last November he had a generational offense and went into GT and scored 23 points. Just as Mario is good for one Mario a year it appears Dawson is good for one a year as well. Had success on the second drive and then abandoned the run just like against GT last year. Though might as well not run it since that’s as predictable as well.

Have you guys considered that Dawson is running what Mario wants to run? Especially running-game wise and short yardage situations?

I think a lot of you will appreciate Damien Martinez and Cam Ward a little bit more with each passing week. But maybe not.

Dawson has been doing this stupid **** all season long. With this talent, we should be much better.

Abandoned the run? What run? There was no hope of moving the ball on ground, and that will continue. 5 can’t block 8. 🤷🏻‍♂️

without even the threat of a run it took the threat of P/A away leaving only bubble screens and down field shots into 7 in coverage. Terrible game plan from the start. We had 20 minutes left in the first half and we ran the ball 4x. Came out in the second half and only ran the ball a few more times in 1st and 10 situations or 3rd and 1. Meanwhile Brohm is dialing up off tackle runs exposing our pass rush on 3rd and 10 picking up first downs.

Dont worry tho… theyll keep on doing the same thing until they get it right.

The offensive scheme has no margin of error.
So many opinions but ultimately it’s this

And **** we still had a shot despite 4 INTs and an ungodly amount of stupid penalties

That’s how good this team actually should be if we just cut down the mistakes

Unfortunately the mistakes just go with the staff

I agree the one yard runs up the middle are a problem but it’s really focusing on the wrong issue

We are not disciplined despite our head coach’s tough talk

It’s irrelevant. Every year one of the ACC teams outperforms while Miami misfires. This year it’s Georgia Tech. The ACC title game will be Tech vs Louisville.

With the dazed and confused Beck the play calling sucked. Should have had a plan B. The team came out flat. Mario has been preaching for the last 2 weeks not to praise the team. He talked up the Louisville defense and with Beck looking like a freshman the run game should have had a better game.

It's 100% Mario's fault. He's either demanding the cavemanesque running attack or he's allowing it. I'm assuming he requires it, either way it's his fault. Problem is he doesn't adjust mid-year which is insane. He probably won't ever REALLY change the running "scheme" but if he does, I'm sure it will be in the offseason.
