Tweed was on twitter after the game and said he didn't dress out but it wasn't anything major and he would be back soon.
Yeah I’m not talking about being dressed out ready to play in uniform, I believe he wasn’t even on the sidelines. You guys missed the point. It’s not about him not dressed out in uniform, it’s about him not being at the game.
Nobody missed the point. The point is that you don't understand concussion recovery. One of the best treatments is quiet rest in a dark room, but somehow you think he should be on the sidelines for the home opener, with bright lights, crowd noise, and Touchdown Tommy being fired off 18 times. And that if YOU don't see what YOU want to see, that there is some sort of falseness that is being perpetrated to, somehow, disguise...what exactly?
So you're "not buying it". Sorry, but that's a ridiculous conclusion based on absolutely nothing (except your genius medical knowledge).
This is a dumb hill to die on, but I’m all for it. Plant your stupid flag, OP.Ok, so it happened weds, by Saturday he couldn’t be seen and it couldn’t be determined it wasn’t severe but he’s good for Saturday? I could see if he was concussed on Friday before they determine the severity. I hardly doubt, since he’s fine today, he wasn’t able to stand on the sidelines Saturday.

There is a protocol they have to go through. Being away from loud noises and keeping away from bright lights is part of that protocol. You get evaluated and then get re-evaluated a few days later. Him not being there was precautionary and part of the protocolOk, so it happened weds, by Saturday he couldn’t be seen and it couldn’t be determined it wasn’t severe but he’s good for Saturday? During the telecast, I thought I saw a screen shot of him in just a jersey. He was clearly not suited up to play.Yeah I’m not talking about being dressed out ready to play in uniform, I believe he wasn’t even on the sidelines. You guys missed the point. I don’t doubt he’s back this week, but you don’t get banged up in practice in the middle of the week and then don’t or can’t be on the sidelines for the game but you’re good to go for next week?
So the injury was severe enough that protocol dictated he not dress but he’s now good enough to this week?
I’m far from that fan lol. I just find it hard to believe he had a concussion on weds that was severe enough he couldn’t put a jersey and shorts on and be on the sideline on Saturday but Sunday he’s cleared for contact for the next game.
Guys get a concussion during a game and they don’t seem to rush them off the sidelines away from the lights and noise and band.
