I don’t doubt he’s back this week, but you don’t get banged up in practice in the middle of the week and then don’t or can’t be on the sidelines for the game but you’re good to go for next week?

So the injury was severe enough that protocol dictated he not dress but he’s now good enough to this week?

I thought I read it was a concussion.

Lolol. So the concussion was severe enough he could dress and be in the sideline but he’s already cleared for next week? Okie dokie

...yes which is very common. You see players sit out for a week for concussions all the time. When you have a concussion, it’s a serious protocol and you can’t play til your headache and other symptoms go away. Sounds like he had a minor concussion which explains why he needed a week off.

So UM, which has gone out of its way to not report injury news when there is uncertainty, now goes out on a limb and confirms that Lingard will be back. Yeah, this really seems like some kind of genius conspiracy theory...

I keep telling folks on here ! That we need to carefully treat and be patient with him. People just wanna see him in action for only selfish reasons. His knee is delicate. We will need him more next year then this year mane'. There is a very few in between Rb's that can be ala' Gore like in this world and be the same after surgeries. Sometimes I wonder have our fans ever played the game at a high level or just know the game at all? #DriveSlowHomie

Yeah I’m not talking about being dressed out ready to play in uniform, I believe he wasn’t even on the sidelines. You guys missed the point. It’s not about him not dressed out in uniform, it’s about him not being at the game.

who said it was severe? It seems with most potential head trauma injuries you take precautions and "just in case" approaches. If further issues develop then you can maybe say "severe" and do more tests. Everything is not a conspiracy.
